The situation with our water has gone to far and not good for our economy .There has been no visibke improvement even after liad shedding has not occured for more than 200 days.
Load shedding was something to hide behind.

The water issues are destroying the coastal areas. Tourism is at an all time low, no-one can earn as income is made through tourism in these areas. Feedback from day to day is delayed, the same and generally unsatisfactory. The municipality is killing this coastal area.kathlynn Archibald (Johannesburg, 2024-10-27)

The information you feed the community is incorrect, we need correct and reliable informationPatricia Moore (Munster 4278, 2024-10-28)

The previous system of updates worked well and allowed residents to estimate when they might have water and plan accordingly. If Ugu cannot provide water daily then the least they should do is provide timely and accurated useful informationRuth Mathias (Munster, 2024-10-29)

We pay for a water service and we do not get a water service. We never know when water is being delivered or the quality of the waterIan Kempe (Munster, 2024-11-04)

Like most people, I have been a tax paying citizen all my life. The reason we pay taxes is amongst others, for service delivery like Water and Electricity.
The availability and condition of the Water in Munster is shocking to say the least.
Locals and holiday makers are extremely disappointed with Ugu.
This condition spans over 5 years and there is no effort to improve the situation.
In fact the situation is deteriorating daily, affecting our daily lives, depreciating our properties and causing huge occupational health conditions.

Water availability has been an issue for many years on the South Coast and must be fixed. I am very keen to know whether monies have been paid to the Eastern Cape for power supply and if so when the payment was made?Joy Read (Port Edward, 2024-11-29)

We have had water maybe once a week in Palm Beach. We are a couple on pension and need to plan for the exact day when we can collect water to last us a week. It is soul destroying and disgusting that we have to pay for ANY charges on the water account!!!Gail Gradidge (Palm Beach, 2024-11-29)

I live in Leisure Bay, and cannot plan according to the new way of water reporting, no indication what low capacity or high capacity indicates especially as it can go from high to 0 in a heartbeat!!!Kim Rehbock (Port Edward, 2025-01-13)

We almost never have water , and it's a human right to have water , we have to beg and plead to just get a bit of waterAnnemie Mitterrutzner (Port edward, 2025-01-13)

We struggle with the same problem as Munster, we only get water once a week, but most of the time the water pressure is so low that it does not reach the top of the watertank to fill it up!Thea Nieuwenhuyse (Port Edward, 2025-01-13)

It affects the whole of the Lower South Coast, our economy is down the drain because there is basically no service delivery.Marisa Marais (Trafalgar, 2025-01-14)
