Just goes to show you how she thought, like the parents who wanted her to stay that her actions were misdemeanours!!

That he did good things and the teachers take things seriously. Shuter was not the saviour of KS, the school always survived without her and they will continue.

We have good admin staff and good teachers.

There are many good head teachers out there, ones with strict discipline, because that's what a head needs to implement in order for pupils to knuckle down. You can't have a head who is a thief, it's not possible, it demonishes her as a role model and is contradictory to everything a head should stand fir

To all those sheep that followed the herd and went to the dark side, baa baa baa. I had several parents call me saying how they were against Shuter returning but were too scared to voice their opinions for fear of being an outcast. These parents ended up signing this petition for her to stay. Just goes to show even amongst you lot there are traitors. You know who you are! BAA BAA BAA!

baa baa, we were not afraid, I know many parents who do not like me, and find me patronising and condescending, but you know what? I dont care, I stuck to my gund from the start, I never hid my discontent and I drilled and interrupted her at the parent's meeting and I did so because I knew she was the wrong choice from the start.

I know many parents who signed this petition called me immature and going on about my professional qualifications and education, but hey not my fault, this is why from the start I knew she was not right for the job. She had a black cloud hovering over her and this should have been cleared before she was nominated for the post. Had this been done a lot of things could have been avoided.

#158 You always had our support. Who cares what these parents think. Some of them were so desperate to raise the numbers on their petition that they even included their kids signatures. We didn't need to and we got what we wanted in the end.

As a student who has just left King Solomon I find it very upsetting to see how so many parents are putting the school down. I find it even more disappointing now the verdict has been made to see how "immature" and "childish" some of the parents are acting towards this petition. In the previous comments I have read, you have gone on to say how she isn't a great role model for your children yet you are acting in an adolescent manner stating how "we won". Not one parent who wanted Ms Shuter to stay will agree that what happened in the past was right, but it's still her life that has been torn apart and an amazing head teacher that has been taken away from a school that really needed her. The changes that she began making to the school were going to be transformational and many other students who left were upset to know we wouldn't see the changes. I worked alongside Ms Shuter very closely for the time she was there and she had a long-term plan for the school that would eventually turn it around and make it amazing. I think unless you've been to the school to see the changes first hand, you shouldn't be so quick to judge. I know I'm not a parent but after being at King Solomon for 7 years under 2 headships I have achieved what I wanted and I am in support of Miss Shuter to win the appeal as I think my school needs her.

#161 You say that you've been at KS for 7 years and you achieved what you wanted. Just goes to show you didn't need Jo Shuter and neither does the rest of the school. Also, it sounds very creepy that you as a student was working very closely along side her. Why was she involving you and showing you what her plans were. It's just weird and too over familiar with a student.

Jo Shuter had the habit of hugging the students and telling them that they were gorgeous and beautiful.

She also said to the girls that they didnt need makeup to look beautiful, yet she caked herself in fake tan to cover her flaws.

Working side by side with her is just creepy, specially for a student and the fact that she picked one out of many is just weird.

All the kids that left school last year, or who are leaving this year it is not down to HER! did she study for you? did she sit in lessons? did she help you revise? NO! she may have egged you on with speeches of how important it is to revise  and get good marks, but if she needed to do that and you were listening to her obvioulsy your parents then weren't doing a good job, or bless their hearts, they were telling you to study but coming from them you heard it as nag nag nag! Which is wrong because all they want is your well being.

If you feel sorry for her go and console her. I honestly believe in karma. She did wrong it came back and hit her in the face. For her to appeal now she will need a lot of money.

By using her as a role model you are just patting her on the head for what she did, I am sure your parents are beyyer role models than her. Look closer to home for inspiration rather than looking at her.

As for the parents against her that are boasting here, well sweet is the taste of victory. As parents we also have our young side, it is not fun having to be mature all the time!

Maybe you are too old for your age, lighten up and enjoy life before too late!

I think some good has come out of this and an important lesson had been learnt: You ARE accountable for your actions and every action has a CONSEQUENCE. The most important thing to do now is find a SUITABLE Head and rebuild the School's tattered reputation after this fiasco....first thing to do is get rid of the totally useless Board of Governors...........

Jo Shuter confiscated children's phones. She made them sign contracts agreeing that if they are caught again they will be confiscated and sold to charity. More like given to her children or to finance her 60th birthday celebrations! Seeing as the money she stole from the acadamy (and the children) went to finance her lavish life style on top of her 100+ K salary I wouldn't like to see her taking advantage of my tax paying money. She has breached her profession position and her fiduciary duty towards the students, she deserves everything she gets.

A comment from an ex pupil, who has a right to put forward their views like anyone else, receives a gutter type response.

I have an open mind, but immaturity and ignorant content of speech is beyond most people.  Maybe one should feel pity for you if this is the only manner in which you can make your viewpoint known.  I also hope that this type of response isn't used when guiding your child/children towards maturity.

For your information, this ex pupil is speaking honestly about their experience.  There will always be children who do well in any school environment, but there are also many more who do not.

Ivan Cohen and I have from the start been against Shuter. Ivan a very well established university professor says it all here.

Omg You people really need to get a grip on reality. What world do u live in. Ivan Cohen is a highly respectful professor who has morals and principles. Unlike you lot who thought the school was thriving under shuter. So much so there is a kid in year 8 who is pregnant. Great morals and principals the school and the parents taught her.
