I fully agree with your wise words. Please criticise ITV and not the individual Ulema for the wrongs of ITV. Please do not mention any individual Ulema by name. I fully agree with your words of wisdom.

The organisation ITV should be criticised for any shortcomings. We are willing to address any concerns and make improvements to the station. We also respect the view that some people hold that all forms of TV is Haraam. In this case there is nothing which can be done as a Haraam cannot be improved. However the purpose of ITV is to be an means for those who currently do have the view that there could be some benefit of TV which is devoid of all forms of Haraam then ITV is striving to meet their needs for a source of information.

Please do not blame presenters and or people who appear on ITV for the faults of itv or name individual persons. There will be no benefit in that. Direct your criticism at ITV.

May Allah (SWT ) Guide us and let this debate lead us to a correct decision for the benefit of the Muslim Ummah.

WHAT YOU SAY IS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH . MAY ALLAH (SWT) REWARD YOU AND ACCEPT YOUR GOOD INTENTIONS.

HOWEVER IN SOME CASES AND A CASE LIKE THIS, THIS HAS TO BE DONE OPENLY TO WARN OTHER PPEOPLE AND TO PREVENT OTHER PEOPLE FROM DOING THE SAME EVIL. ONE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THIS WAS NOT AN ERROR DONE OUT OF IGNORANCE. THESE ULEMA ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE FATWAS OUT THERE AND ALSO OPPOSITION TO THEM APPEARING ON TV. THESE ARE LEARNED MEN WHO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE HADITH OF OUR BELOVED NABI (S.A.W.). EVEN A 5 YR OLD WILL UNDERSTAND A STRAIGHT-FORWARD STATEMENT. THERE IS NO CHOOSING THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS IN THIS CASE.

THEY HAVE WENT AGAINST THE TEACHINGS OF THE SHARIAH AND EVEN TRIED TO JUSTIFY IT ON RADIO SHAYTAAN.

REMEMBER IN AN ISLAMIC STATE WHEN A PERSON COMMITS MURDER, ARMED ROBBERY OR ADULTERY HE/ SHE IS PUBLICLY PUNISHED. THIS IS TO PREVENT FURTHER CORRUPTION.

YES, THEIR PERSONAL FAULTS WHICH AFFECTS THEIR OWN SOULS ARE NOT MADE PUBLIC. BUT THESE SINS AFFECTS THE UMMAH AT LARGE AND THEY TRY TO JUSTIFY IT. THEY HAVE BEEN WARNED. THEY HAVE TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR "LOFTY PEDESTAL" OF BEING OUR LEADERS.

YES WE DO MAKE DUA THAT THEY AND OURSELVES COME TO THE TRUTH. THE UMMAH CAN ONLY UNITE ON HAQ!!

Jazakalah Inaayat. Now please go and pracrice what you preached. Go to their homes and ask them to make taubah from standing surrounded by a dozen Christian crosses in a Church, from making Halaal the wearing of hindu sar'is, from Halaalazing the hot cross buns, from teaching in so-called Islamic schools which dislay the photo's of young girls and boys in newspapers, form certifying Israeli products though the Palestinians are brutalised...the list goes on and on. That is why Moulana Fadl-ur-Rahmaan of Azadvile was fed up. Not only him, but the overwhelmning majority of Ulama in the Jamiat. The Jamiat has beent aken over by six people, and i will name them: Ml. Bham, Ml Ragie, Ml. Navlakhi, Ml. Haider, Ml, Sulaiman Ravat, Ml Khajwee and "Mufti E.B. Lockat".

Just imagine for a moment of Ml. Abdul Hameed Saab was in charge of the Radio station and Moulana Shabeer saheb was the general secretary and Mufti Saeed Motala and Mufti Ismail of Springs were in charge of Sanha, what noor will there not be in the Jamiat.

I am awaiting for a report back from Inaayat after he meets and speaks with Hikmah to the various parties whose name he now possesses.

Please also ask the Radio why they are not putting on air the names of the Ulama of South Africa who opposes ITV. He should try and convince them to put Ml. Abdul Hamids Bayaan and read out the Fatw'a of the local Ulama who oppose ITV. Let's see if he succeeds with his Hikmah.

They hijacked Jamiat of Transvaal and deceivingly change name to Jamiatul ulema of South Africa. This name belongs to a group of Jamiats from all South Africa, incl Jamiat KZN , Jamiat TVL, Jamita EC, MJC, Waterfal Islamic Institute. These guys are thugs.

And Inayat, did Nabi Salallahu alayhi wasallam himself not label soem Ulama to be "Ulama-e-soo". (Evil Ulama). Did he not say that there will be Ulama who will be the worst under the canopy of the skies?

Was he not very very angry at them? Here we find Nabi Salallahu alayhy he wasalam outraged and giving vent to his anger.

But you want only hikmat,hikmat and hikmat. You dont seem to understand how hurt we are with all the Haraams which Ml Bham and his clique are causing.

For too long, we remained silent. See what our Hikmat and silence has let to? T.V. in the homed. Moulana's freely intermingling in the name of Islam. We see our Jamaat work already slacking. Why, there is now ITV. We now understand what the Majlis was trying to warn us about. Worse then the harsh language is the evil of the gang that hijacked the our Jamiat.

If you love Islam, you will get angry. No one uses words of Hikmat with a robber and try and explain to him nicely.

Our objection is that there is, apparently, no regulatory mechanism to guide the Islamic matters for the media and here we must emphasise that the term 'Media' is regarded as an ALL INCLUSIVE entity.

You need to get your facts straight. You will NEVER succeed in presenting the truth from a tool that is known to be used in order to spew out deception and untruth's. PERIOD.

The truth will live and spread without the shariah being changed i.e TV being made halaal. Just as it was and is since before the time of human creation. This deen is ALLAH'S religion and HE will protect it by using those who strive to uphold/defend/protect the shariah and follow the original example and method of rasoolullah salallahu'Alaihiwasallam. There's absolutely NO NEED to open this door of evil and make the TV halaal in order to spread islaam. You will disgrace yourself, your leaders and OUR ISLAAM with this oxymoron.

The female voice is hijaab and cannot be flaunted to all and sundry. Nothing you say or do will ever change the sacred devine rulings of the shariah. The chaste wives of the best man ever created (rasoolullah salallahu'alaihi wasallam) were ordered in the Noble Quraan
"And do not lower your voices in speech, so that he in whose heart there is sickness may be filled with desire" (al Ahzab, 33:32).

This was the ummul mu'mineen, and if she ever, in times of necessity, conversed with a ghair mahram - it was most probably with a sahaaba (companion of rasoolullah salallahu'Alaihi wasallam).
These were the most noble people with the highest tqwa imaginable and yet, they have been ordered to exercise caution due to natural human nature. So how can it be possible that in todays times, when evil is so widespread and our imaan/taqwa so weak, that the most beautiful seductive female voices on the media must be accepted and permitted, not only accepted and permitted but viewed as islaam and thawaab???

I concur. We have to check that we don't land in gheebah, its too easy to lose ourselves and contaminate our pure intentions when angry.

And WHO'S going to be responsible for the sins of those 2 - 3 month's?

And i doubt that ITV is haraam solely because of the music and photography. Are the males and females going to stop hosting programs together? Are the females going to start observing hijaab of their voices and hijaab of their faces? Are the ambiya cartoons going to be removed? Are the ulama going to check that whoever brings a TV in his/her home for the purpose of ITV, that TV must not be used for any other wrongs and evil? Are they going to ensure that the males who are watching ITV do not commit zina with their minds and hearts while viewing the apa's programs?

You see Dr Adam its basically IMPOSSIBLE to have a 100% shariah compliant channel on TV. And when anything is not 100% halaal it means that part of it is haraam/sin. So if we can't do things in exact accordance to the shariah - we MUST LEAVE IT OUT, Especially if others are going to get involved in the sin on our strength, because then, we will carry their sins on our shoulders.

DR Adam you seem to be a reasonably clear minded person, how on earth did you get yourself tangled in this ITV mix?
