Justice Without Compromise
Petition for Justice without Compromise: No Parole for Convicted Violent Offenders
We, the undersigned, believe that individuals who have been accused, tried, and found guilty of the following violent crimes should serve their full court-imposed sentences without the possibility of early parole:
- Conspiracy to Commit Murder
- Robbery with Aggravating Circumstances
- Murder
Our justice system must prioritize the rights and safety of victims, their families, and society over the early release of violent offenders. Studies have shown that individuals convicted of such crimes have a high likelihood of reoffending, posing an ongoing danger to the community.
Why This Matters:
- Public Safety – Allowing violent offenders early release increases the risk of repeat offenses, endangering innocent lives.
- Justice for Victims – The trauma suffered by victims, their families, and the community is lifelong. The justice system should uphold the full sentence as a measure of accountability and respect for those impacted.
- Legal Integrity – A court-imposed sentence represents a fair and just consequence. Reducing this time undermines the judicial process and weakens trust in the legal system.
- Crime Deterrence – Ensuring that violent criminals serve their full sentence reinforces the seriousness of such offenses and discourages future crime.
By signing this petition, we demand that government officials uphold the full sentencing of individuals convicted of these crimes and remove the option of parole for them.
Justice should not be negotiable.
