I have seen the work Best Friends of Utah have done with the Mike Vick dogs. Dogs that had been trained to fight due to the ignorance & stupidity of of an idiot. They were rehabilitated an some have even been adopted. These dogs were originally condemned too. Please contact Best Friends for any advice and assistance!

The fact that this dog was taken with no signs of aggression, and the face that the PC ( who would be a better authority on the situation ) agrees that there is no danger. How is it that a Magistrate is allowing what I feel is a personal Bias decide that this sweet looking pup is a danger.....

BSL needs to be stopped.
and the Media needs to be held accountable, These dogs are no more likely to bite than a chihuahua.

Because I believe that when you take a pet from his or her family. And you tell them what to do. I would tell you what it is and what it isn't. Same with a animal.

Pit Bulls are the most loving dogs ever. I have 2 of them and kids in the neighborhood plays with them. They know when you are feeling lonely or sick and will immediately be next to your side. Teddy is the same. It's not the dog, it's how you train and treat them. Please give Teddy back to his family, both of them missed each other and need each other.

This baby need to go back to his family there are so many babies dying everyday because no one cares 4 them....stop the killing allow theses babies to be loved they have feeling 2... I have 9 babies an work with rescue to try and save them........FREE TEDDY TO GO BACK TO HIS FAMILY HE LOVES THEM AND THEY LOVE HIM!!!!!! GO HOME MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!

There are so many animals that are strays or abused but Teddy is a dog who is obviously very loved & very well cared for by his family. As he has no history of biting & the police felt he should go home, I find it absurd that he should be put down.

I think the people who think Teddy is a Pit has never seen either an American Pit Bull Terrier nor an American Staffordshire Terrier. Neither of which are inherently viscous dog breeds. My own dog, a pure bred Australian Stubby Tail Cattle Dog, has features that make him look like a cross with either of the terrier breeds mentioned above. Teddy has a sweet face, which like many of the dog breeds have similar features. Teddy's American Bulldog features are a little softer and he doesn't have the muscle mass, at least in the pictures I have seen, but he has the conformation. 

I think that the Chairman is stupid and is just being cruel. To both Teddy and his little person.

My husband says that if you don't get Teddy back, he'd come and show him how it feels. He would visit upon this man everything he has done to Teddy willingly. Especially if Teddy is killed by this worm of a guy. 

On a note from myself. If he kills Teddy. He should be nuetered and stuck in a cage. Then after the same amount of time, give him the same poison or shot. Make sure he sees it coming too.

I would never take someone stealing and hurting my dog laying down. They'd find out what it means to face down a marine's wife and her devil dog husband. Semper Fidelis!

I have 4 dogs. One is pit and lab mixed. He is Wonderful. He is old now but I love him. Every animal has the right to live and be loved. How dare you do something this despicable like this! This is a loving pet to this family. A member of this family. You should be ashamed of yourself!!! Give this loving dog back to his family!!!

We don't condemn humans to death based solely on skin color or country of origin or class of origin (in other words, based on breed) - well, generally we don't. We shouldn't condemn dogs to death on the basis of genetics either. Teddy has no history of aggression. He has a home and a family that loves him. The traumatic damage to the child that lives with Teddy should give you pause even if the basic ethics of the situation do not. Do the right thing: leave Teddy be.

Any dog no matter what breed, including Teddy should not be killed because of their lineage. Especially with no just cause, we can not condemn these precious animals to death.

Teddy and his family are being treated unfairly. I am
a bit familiar with pit bulls, my sister has had two with
a baby and small child in the house. No problems.
No dogs are inherently bad. Stupid bad people make
them bad. Also, Teddy looks more like a mixed breed
than a pit bull.
