Too many animals being killed and some for fun and trophies it wont be long before we have none of these beautiful animals left.We know OZ done wrong but please dont put him down.Thats all ill say as its too up setting for family of the zoo keeper and also for OZ his out come is in the hands of humans he cant speak once again man takes control over the life of a beautiful animal.

I do not believe this beautiful animal should be put down, In fact I do not believe these animals should be kept in captivity. They belong in the wild. I feel for the family of the zoo keeper it is a tragic loss. But OZ has been put in a place where his freedom has been taken from him all for the pleasure of humans.

Because I don't believe animals should be punished for human errors!!
We choose to put wild animals in captivity we must respect that they are always a wild animal at heart.

I'm deeply sorry for the loss of a wonderful person who was committed to such animals. I'm of the opinion that to put the animal down would go against her belief that endangered species should be protected and not put down.

Because she shouldn't have been in the enclosure with the tiger in the first place. They are wild animals, he probably thought he was playing and didn't recognise his own strength. Ridiculousl to put him down

Honestly Animals like Oz should not be kept in captivity. Its sad about the trainer but that's the risk you have to take when being around a wild animal even with all the precautions

If humans cannot accept that this is a natural reaction of a wild animal, we should not be aloud to keep them in cages, they do not deserve to be killed, they do not know any better .Putting them down is no better than poachers killing them in the wild. Of course there are going to be potential disasters but are we not wanting to keep them safe rather than killing them

As a passionate conversationist I cannot believe that Ms Kudewah would want Oz put to sleep - he is a wild animal and whilst this accident is terrible and I cannot imagine the grief her family are experiencing, I do not believe he deserves to be put to sleep, he was acting on his natural instinct and it is not his fault.

Watched the TV series in UK and I'm pretty sure that series involved Oz and a dedicated keeper called Trent.
The tragic death of Oz's keeper is so sad and I would like to express my deepest sympathy to her family, friends and colleagues.
I remember how devoted Trent was to the tiger in his care and how devastated he was when one died of natural causes. I imagine this lady was equally devoted to the Tigers and believed sincerely in the Conservation programme that she was a part of.
To put Oz down would surely be the last thing that
she would want - this is all about the protection of the Tigers and tragically sometimes the keepers do get injured or killed in their work but these are wild animals and shouldn't pay with their life for what is a natural instinct.
