 I had met a US AIR FA in a hotel lobby several months back and we've been in contact.  I forwarded the link to him yesterday.  He also wants Rocks # and I don't have it.

Our profession has been degraded by a union that claims to be trasparent and democratic.  Where is the democracy?  No one voted on the CLA.  APFA's agreement with the company on the CLA is one of the main reasons the TA favors management.  No need to get personal and call Laura names.  This is business and she as the leader of the union has failed to lead effectively.  There has been no accountability on her part, only self promotion.

We all need to stick together and fight for better leadership. One that actually is on the F/As side! Also, we need someone who for many years has TT, dropped and picked up trips so they KNOW the importance of flexibility, therefore, be completely against any threshold!!!!

They want us to give up a great deal of flexibility (hard 40) amongst other things in exchange for what???? The highlights they are telling us are NOT improvements in book. I don't trust them and am afraid of the fine print when it is all implemented. I will vote NO on this contract.

I have personally been part of a union before but after the road show and some of Ms. Gladings remarks she is not fit to represent nor handle this uphill battle for our work group. I do not believe she is supporting the membership, she is supporting the company's interest and her own more then this work groups interest. Further more I feel that out membership should have been given the option to vote on every highlight of this TA during this negotiation process, and we have not been given that option. She needs to go!!

Laura Gladding you need to go!! You try living on our salary!! You have no idea what hard ship is or how to fight for what is right!! We have not seen a cost of living increase in 30 years!! Things are not the same price as they were back then. A one bedroom apt in the bay area in sfo and east bay run from 1, 500. To 2,500. That's my entire pay check. You have lost your fight for what is right. You need to go..Give us what we deserve ,not what the company wants us to sign.

Laura Glading has not represented the body of flight attendants. She has her own private agenda and is trying to force a yes vote on the pending TA. Flexibility is paramount and no dollar amount can be traded for this benefit. She gave it up without a fight.

We need to start getting paid when we sign in!! Why is that still not in our contract? No other work group, besides the pilots, works for free for their first hour! So much happens during boarding!
