Nice to see people investing in the area creating employment. Providing a safe environment for families, doing more good than harm, leave it alone!

It has impacted so much that prior to seeing it in the warrington guardian I did not know it was there and I walk past it every week ! Sounds like a great place to be on match days! Something the town needed with Warrington Wolves doing so well

Protecting our Heritage!!! Yeah right, how about protecting the future prosperity of Warrington, making us stronger than the competition, creating jobs and boosting the local economy further still, bringing us out of recession faster than our neighbouring towns, Warrington Borough Council should not be strait-jacketing a business in an area where so much urban renewal is already taking place, including the site where W.B.C contractors "accidentally" knocked down a much, much older pub not too many years ago, just up from central station.
Hypocritical and two-faced at best, the King's Head should be given retrospective permission to allow it to accommodate the numbers of customers likely, because of Halliwell Jones/Warrington Wolves and visiting fans, this is not some town center pub, that just wants to make more money. The venues closest to the Stadium should be given a chance to accommodate the large numbers of fans going to/coming from the Stadium. How backward to otherwise. W.B.C rethink your position and stop making an arse out of yourselves, allow businesses a chance to make Warrington the best We can make it.

It's the best thing that's happened to the kings head, it should be able to stay up

This extension has added to the rear of the pub which fails to disgrace it.
It's always been a great pub but needed more room due to it's popularity in the town.
The extension hasn't effected the structure or the character of the Kingshead so why pull the extension down.
This could prove costly to the owners and see the closure of yet another "True English" pub.

The shed at The Kings Head is a great addition to the pub and is doing no harm to anybody and should be kept. It has added a modern touch to an old pub and has created a great atmosphere.

If the shed makes the listed building become 'eye sore' so the council say, then why have they had the side of the building plastered with an orange render? One rule for them and another for the people. The shed improves the community, gives a safe environment on Match days and makes use of unused land to create jobs. Full credit to the landlord and the builders. Done a great job with a great idea. SAVE OUR SHED!!

Warrington borough council need to sort their priorities out! They can 'accidentally' demolish listed buildings and nothing is said. A guy improves a pub for the better.... And that's wrong!?!

It deserves to stay open and its not an eyesore hes spent thousands to make this building good again were as it could have been derelict building

It seems to me after watching the Damned Designs TV programme, that council planning are run by old people with old fashioned ideas and views. Heritage is more important than people, it seems that the authorities would be happier if this place was empty and falling into disrepair

Because in an area where everything else of note has been knocked down the landlord is doing his best to keep this historic building alive. Another listed building just a few doors down was knocked down "accidentally" a few years ago. The council needs to listen to the local people and not be so determined to get their own way.

I can't see any reason whatsoever why this extension cannot be granted permission to stay. It is doing nothing but good.

The council should spend their time and money on more important issues rather than something that helps the community.

It's a bleeding pub not Buckingham palace. A people's pub, and an asset to our town.
