Please help North Coates Flying Club fight a proposal, which if were to go ahead would threaten the existence of one of the country's oldest airfields. The proposed development by Smart Wind would mean the erection of work compounds at the end of our active runway 05 and other compounds within our circuit pattern which would affect the flight safety of aircraft using North Coates Airfield and could threaten its very existence.

The developer is Smart Wind a company involved in wind generated electricity. The developer has the option of choosing a less dangerous area for the location of these compounds which would not directly affect the air movements at North Coates and with your assistance we may be able to affect a change in the location of these compounds based on your vote
