The voice of the people in a democracy needs to be heeded not ignored and dismissed by the people we voted to represent us. We need a radical rethink on how the voice of the majority. Can be implemented on so many issues


How nice it would be if our elected politicians listened and acted on the demands of the majority of uk residents instead of just blatantly ignoring their wishes .
The list is endless

1 divert overseas funding
2 stop bankers sticking two fingers up at us
3 more police on the streets
4 offshore banking and tax avoidance by the elite
The list is endless we need to change the way the will of the majority is represented , something nearer democracy !

I feel it is time to completely review foreign aid. Especially where it is abused or no longer required. It is urgently needed in this country to rectify the flooding by drainage and any other recommended systems. Also to finance homes which have suffered and continually by the unusual weather of late. This should iinclude the unfortunate people who were affected on the East Coast earlier.

The people deserve help, the overseas aid is mostly waisted and the quango running it are an overpaid bunch of incompetent idiots, should be run by ordinary people who have some common sense. Then the money could be put to good use, dealing with the flood problems.The only reason there is so much being made of the current floods is because they are in the south, there were worse floods earlier in the past decade affecting a lot of areas in the North. Whenever there is an overseas disaster we in this country are the first to put our hands in our pockets to help out. Where is the help coming for us? I completely agree that funds destined for overseas aid should be diverted to help people suffering from the effects of the storm now hitting this island, in fact overseas Aid to countries that have their own space programme should be stopped altogether.

This government has no idea how ordinary people feel. None of the main political parties have the gumption to stand up and be counted. Stop overseas aid and spend it on our own people - NHS, all frontline services, care for the elderly etc.

It is time politicians took their heads out of the clouds and up from the sand and concentrated on doing what the people of Britain have elected them to do which is not to spend hard earned tax payers money on crazy schemes in foreign countries but channel it to people in need in our own country.
