Bhagavad Geeta teaches a philosophy and a way to live life with dignity and humanity.  Freedom of religion is a fundamental right for any human.  It's very elementary to rob people of their faith, and simply wrong to take away the basic right.

"Bhagavad Gita As It Is" should never been banned in any part of this world. This book is not just for Hindus and It is for the whole world. The author who is the founder of ISKCON very clearly mention in several places that we are not Hindus and the book is not for hindus but it is for the whole world. If everyone reads this book, then universal brotherliness will practically Happen. Jai Srila Prabhupada. Hare Krishna.

Bhagvit Gita if well studied & properly communicated can help world peace efforts and unity of whole mankind. It is Scientific and does not belong to or canvasses any one particular religion , Not even so called HINDU Dharm ( religion) it discusses Manav Dharm , Religion for All mankind .
