i am living in Amanzimtoti. Esprcially the big lorries taxis make it a very dangerous road. Better have a BIG meeting and decide on what to do!

I live next to the N2 on Twini Hill and heard all the emergency services last Friday night. I was extremely upset when I heard what had happened. We hear the sound of sirens and crashes every week. I think if people knew how many lives have been lost on this hill they would be utterly shocked. Please we need huge signs on the side of this hill to reduce speed and display how many people have died. They do this in the UK so why not here?

I really think that further to this the stretch from Prospecton to Illovo Beach off ramp should have an enforced speed restriction of 100 kmh

I fully support Debbie's initiative for this very necessary petition for some REAL action to be taken be SANRAL to make this very dangerous stretch of road with a high accident section to be safer road for all users. I would suggest that the petition covers the N2 from 'Twini Hill right down to Illovo.  The speed should definately be restricted to not more than 90 or 100 kph and have those thin warning ridges and much more signage installed in and around the area.

Twini Hill has been an accident scene of many tragic accidents that might have been prevented. It is seen daily as I travel that route to and from work! Something has to be done urgently!!
