The appalling treatment of dogs in Greece is shocking. There are laws to control this but are rarely enforced. I am unlikely to ever visit Greece again due to the barbarity of so many of its citizens. Shame on you Greece, and sadness for the gradual loss of your tourist trade entirely due to your cruelty to all animals.
