Because I believe Medical Schemes are acting irresponsibly and unfairly.

Medical Aids are paying less and less for medical treatment by the year, and they try and force you to use suppliers on there own networks. Patients and the public who pay the monthly/annual subscriptions are being denied the choice of who is going to treat them.

My medical aid (Discovery) forces me to make a co payment for my medicine because I refuse to use a generic in place of the one I have used successfully for years

I have signed the petition  because I am a pharmacist and medical aids are remunerating pharmacists and medical professionals for not what they are worth but what they want to and also compromising patients health

I feel that the community pharmacy is crucial and I resent the bullying tactics of the Medical Aid. I do NOT want the private pharmacies to be forced out of business.
