We don't need any more innocent lives lost. No more trucks on M13, and transport companies should also only employ qualified individuals and ensure their trucks are roadworthy.

Today another family is beriEved because those in authority have not taken note of our past requests to stop ALL TRUCKS from going down Fields Hill.

On the same day (ironic) Sanele May whose truck went out of control and killed many people was sentenced to an 8 year Gaol sentence, and we are all incensed at this unfair practice.

Someone like Oscar Pistorious who killed someone WHO WAS behind a closed door only gets 5 years for murder. Is this OK - I say NO

What is wrong with our Justice system.?

This is getting out of hand...how many innocent lives must still be taken away before something is done...do not put time limits up on m13..take the trucks off fields hill permanently before it gets worse...out justice system is no good...murder of innocent victims and u get 8 years..we are the ones who must deal with the pain for the rest of our lives...reat in peace and condolences to all families who has lost someone in these tragic accidents...

We use the Fields Hill route every day and use it in fear of these heavy vehicles.Look at the meanial sentence of the driver that killed 22 people.He will be out in a year and driving again I have no doubt

What we the public should do is block the M13 Fields Hill with people and only allow cars through. The truckers will not be happy with the hold up. How many more accidents do they need to STOP ALL TRUCKS!!

Truck owners should be held responsible for each and every accident on Fields Hill - not just the drivers. Better still, ban them altogether before more innocent people get killed.

Another family bereaved, if the call was heeded last year to ban the heavies this would not have been the case. We live next to the M13 and despite the limited ban heavies still travel the M13 with impunity during the restricted times. If it was someone from the MEC's family, would he still be reluctant to ban the heavies on M13, think not. It will only sink in when it hits directly......... All heavies should be banned forthwith, we do have alternate routes for the heavies called the N3!

Put a 'dummy' pedestrian bridge, a height of 3 meters, at the N3/M13 split. Its not rocket science!!!!!!

Our roads are over run by trucks and need to be banned off fields hill aswell as other smaller roads. Also there should be a limit on how heavy trucks are. The railways need to be used as they were many years ago.

The toll should be put before the spilt. I.e before Key Ridge. They will say that can't be done as they isn't an alternative route but it is time they started worrying about saving lives instead.

Please stop ALL trucks from using M13 Fields Hill, I travel taht road 3 times a day with my young children, as do 1000"s of others - Trucks and their drivers are a menace. That road was not designed to be used by heavy motor vehicles. They must use the N3 !!!!!!!!

An excellent idea! Another death of an elderly lady occurred on 28 November when a truck overturned on Fields Hill, crushing her car. Enough is enough!!
