Save Nu107 FM's rock music-oriented programming format!!!

I might not have been listening lately, but I have to admit, NU has been part of my life. I would want it to stay as it is.

Nu today is better than no NU at all.

Though I think that regardless if u change format, non mainstream music will find its way to its listeners,
I dnt see the need to change the station's current programming.What I see it will drive in the end is an
audience that will Proactively look for an alternative for pop or mainstream music that is 70 percent
on the current airwaves. What I dnt get is Why target 70 percent of the popular market that is shared by
other stations when u can have a Loyal majority of the remaining 30 percent who listen to non mainstream
Music? If u do this u will lose your footing and advantage of being an established station that enjoys almost
an almost absolute advantage over other stations.

Half of my life belongs to Rock/Alternative half of my life will die if the station would change its format. since 1987 I've been listening to NU107 after the demise of WXB 102 till the present, this station gives me hope to form a band and this station also opened up my mind to a lot of genre's of rock music it is also with this station I've met a lot of friends attended bunch of concerts and of course the Rock Awards.

So imagine if theres no more NU107's NU-Rock format what would happen to the Pinoy Rock Industry/Scene? would there another Rock Awards for next year? would there be a house for aspiring new bands? would there be decent/legit rock concerts? what about my kids, would they enjoy the music we all experienced for the past 20 plus years?

I hope the people who would be taking over the station should think not twice but to think wisely. if this change of format would occur well then half of my existence in this world now would also die.

Without nu107 im not gonna be updated to Philippine Alternative rock bands....Ive been listening to nu107.5fm since 1995 and you guys are rock may the god of rock bless you!!!!lets save nu107.5fm this is every rockers home all of us brothers and sisters this is our home of new rock!!!! "OUR HOME OF NEW ROCK!!!" \m/ YEAH!!!!!!

Please save NU107. A lot of rock artists will be affected especially new homegrown artists if the ONLY ROCK MUSIC STATION of our country that gives the opportunity for their music to be heard will be gone. Please save the station that gave the kind of music that we love and made us feel the goodness of being alive... rock music.

yes, the death of NU107 is the death of our rockstar dreams. Please reconsider!

i am a listener for 17 years. my radio's default dial is on NU107. this station saved me from boybands and rap music in the early 90s, and open my ears to different kinds of genre. my ipod songs consists mainly of songs from that decade that are played in NU. please. please please. we are begging you. i hope it's not too late to save the rock format. PINOY ROCKERS listen here. aspiring bands have their hopes here. please..

I need and want nu,.. since school days this the only radio station i prefer to listen to,.. And also a lot of fellas out there,..!! the only station who appreciates rock music at its different form,...and also by listening to band and artists being only played there inspires me to learn and study music instruments my own,.. I owe a lot of from NU,.. no to death of nu!!

What will happen to those who can only afford to listen to free-to-air radio? Is this the end of an era? Never! Shouldn't be.

It's sad and it's true.
