Community demands Maluti-A-Phofung Municipality to surrender power supply to Eskom

PicsArt_05-13-01.36_.40_.pngAs residents of Maluti A Phofung, we are fully aware that The Maluti-A-Phofung local municipality has since surrendered the supply of electricity to power utility, Eskom. It's difficult for our Municipality to ensure that all substations are maintained and secured, transformers are beefed up, links are well placed are network links are balanced in order to stabilize electricity supply in Maluti A Phofung and that Eskom will also assist in revenue collection in the entire Municipality. 

People who living with health equipment which depend on electricity suffered enough since 2011,the municipality continues to make load reduction even when Eskom can make Loadshading, the only thing that we need is eskom.

 By signing this petition, it means you agree to proposed deal that Eskom must take full operation of Electricity in Maluti A Phofung with immediate effect.
