Unfair debit hold on Tymebank without communication with account holder

Our Grievances:

Unjust Account Closures: TymeBank has been closing the accounts of Stokvel members without proper verification or consultation with the account holders. This has caused severe inconvenience and financial instability for many of us.

Lack of Communication: There has been a clear lack of communication and transparency from Tymebank regarding the reasons behind these account closures. Members are left in the dark, unsure of what steps to take to resolve the issue.

Discriminatory Practices: As loyal clients, we believe we are being treated unfairly and discriminately. Tymebank ’s actions suggest a lack of respect and understanding of the vital role Stokvels play in our communities.

 

Our Demands:

Immediate Reinstatement of Closed Accounts: We demand the immediate reinstatement of all closed accounts of Stokvel members, with an apology from TymeBank for the undue stress and inconvenience caused.

Fair Verification Process: Tymebank must implement a fair and transparent verification process before deciding to close any accounts. This process should involve direct communication with the account holders.
