I am signing this because this treatment is too harsh, unfair and unwarranted for a young trying black woman who has worked so hard to get this dump of a place looking so beautiful

Kims Kitchen has provided a safe environment for my son who has numerous allergies which restricts us from eating out. It gives us peace to know we can take him here and he will be catered for following strict health and safety guidlines. This family friendly restaurant provides a warm loving environment. It is value for money and serves high quality food. It is kept to a high standard and has a positive affect on the community.

I heard about this restaurant and very good reviews its a pity to closed it down . But what was the issuse surrounding this unexpected closure. I would love to hear the reason as no information was mention. Lawfully the landlord has to give a written notice of possession before police and bailiff can get involved. Pls advise us of an update so we can positively endorse this pittion to carry on. Blessings.

I’ve eaten here quite a few times, premises and surroundings are done to a high standard, presentation of restaurant has been kept very clean, the food is one of the best in Birmingham right now, and the hospitality of how the staff are, I consider next to none. It’s hard to find all those qualities in the same premises. It would be a huge shame for such a good food shop to go.

1 Kim have work full time over to get this place looking awesome and a place for dining.
2 God no like ugly.
3 She deserves every chance to build and reap from her labour.
4 The people in the community and around full joy the service.
5 She have made a great difference in the community
6 Whomever closes Kim's Kitchen God will pour out his wrath on them.
7 This is the act of badmind.
8 If God should treat as we deserve then we all would be hell bound because he said in his words our righteousness is like filthy rugs.
9 Give her the chance to grow and empower others she is pretty young and a mother of 5 children.
10 Remember who God bless no one can curse and if God be for Kim who can be against her.

Let Kim's Kitchen thrive
Let Kim's Kitchen thrive

Any business serving the community positively is worth keeping. Especially black business as they face many battles to have a business in the first place, and then another battle to keep it once it starts to become successful...

Lee bank is a home to many, from all walks of life, different cultures, beliefs etc. the area has had no vibrancy and little to nothing that brings each individual together like Kim’s kitchen. It’s created a whole new atmosphere for the area, especially being one of the very few restaurants being opened locally. I’ve seen the restaurant transform first handedly in a way that I could never have imagined it being. People eat, talk, laugh, congregate and celebrate at Kim’s Kitchen. Letting go of such a gem will affect many as it presently is. Don’t let something so great and proud go.

Carlene Plunkett (Birmingham, 2024-10-04)

I've known the business owners to be decent and very loyal. They are natural born hustlers, and it's only fair they keep their place of business. They are a credit to the Caribbean community.

Vannesa Wizzart (Manchester, 2024-10-04)

#138

I happy to see a black owned business that's is family orientated like Kim kitchen
Plus she has only just bought the shop it will be a shame for the community of Lee bank

Julian Marshall (Birmingham, 2024-10-04)

#140

Kims kitchen has given me somewhere local to meet up with friends and enjoy good food. Before they opened there was nothing near by that was affordable and allowed us to dine in. The community needed something like this for years, it's bringing a different standard of living and has only benefited us therefore will have a positive knock on affect for many years to come.

Christie Forbes (Birmingham, 2024-10-07)

Where is equal opportunities.

Everybody deserves a chance to be self reliant and free to compete.

Black people have been hurt from 1660s slavery, and now we need to support each other, as well as the Whites and Asians.

We all come from Adam and Eve. (Book of Genesis)

Abraham son Issac had one black son and one white son. ( See Book of Genesis in King James Translation)

Even king David was black, because his son King Solomon said he the son of David is black and comly. (See Book of King Solomon king James Translation)

I’m signing, because I want the Restaurant to stay open. The food is delicious. I would recommend it to anyone. Closing it down would be a mistake.

I live in the area just on the next street from Kim's Kitchen. The building has been a derelict eyesore for years and I have been here since 2011. For the first time there is a legitimate business bringing economic value to the building and the area. This also brings work opportunities to people in the area as well as a place for vulnerable groups who may not be able to cook to have a decent cooked meal. There are very few restaurants of this design where people can sit down to eat and it is required as the only other places in walking distance for some people is junk food and is not healthy. I do not appreciate now seeing boarded up windows again and a building left to waste making a city centre area look like the ghetto. There does not seem to be any good reason why it has been closed down especially after the business owners also spent their money redecorating the building inside and out. They should be reimbursed. And as a member of the community who lives around the corner I want the restaurant to be reopened so that we who live here have another option to eat properly cooked healtheir food whilst eating out in our local area.
