I'm signing this petition because we are gatvol for not having power, the streetlights haven't been working for more than 2 years. There is alway a water issue... We loose our appliances and we don't have money to replace them and to put a claim is a huge issue as there is no money to fix substations or streetlights how will they refund us the community with our losses 😡😡😡

It’s almost 4 days without power but we are paying them every month and if we don’t pay them they are quick to block your electricity meter even if you outstanding of 20c and again they are overcharging us with electricity.

We're tired of living without power. People in this area are on oxygen and have to be hospitalized. Food goes off and has to be thrown out. I demand that each substation in Germiston particularly the Denlee, Lambton areas be looked at, attended to, urgently upgraded and then secured to avoid theft. The detoriation of these substations and infrastructure has been an ongoing situation and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel, as it is nearly a daily occurrence in that many areas in Germiston has had far too many and some areas, have daily power outages. This also reflects poorly on service delivery, as this is an ongoing situation in these areas, particularly in Germiston.
Please let us, the residents of Germiston have a speedy resolution on these demands so as we can live our lives as normal again as this is disrupting our livelyhoods.
We repeat again: we are desperate for a resolution, the residents of Elsburg, Klippoortjie, Denlee, Lambton, A.L. and Estera in Germiston demand that each substation in these areas be looked at, urgently upgraded and then secured to avoid theft.

There are constant outages due to negligence and theft to our areas infrastructure.
