There is a route that can be upgraded , the n20 between cork and rathduff rather than a while new motorway built

edel humphreys (WHITECHURCH, 2021-01-02)

#13

I feel the Navy route for the proposed N/M20 upgrade works is wholly inappropriate and unnecessary given that the N20 as it currently exists could simply be improved along the stretch concerned thus avoiding rending communities, families, farms and businesses asunder.

Blathnaid O'Loughlin (Grenagh, 2021-01-02)

#15

On navy route

Maria Oriordan (Blarney, 2021-01-02)

#27

No to M20 Navy route

Una Hegarty (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#28

The navy route would divide the community that has such a deep community spirit and would be detrimental to the environment which has a rich biodiversity

Niamh O’sullivan (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#31

The navy route would run through the field across from where I live and as a senior I would be cut off from blarney village for shopping and the church doctor and chemist.

Marie Crowley (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#32

I oppose the proposed M20 Navy route.

Rachael Hendley (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#37

If this goes ahead it will effect the mental health of many people in this area who's homes will maybe be compulsory purchased or having big motorway in their once gardens.

Shauna Davis (The Rath, Swords, 2021-01-02)

#39

I'm signing because I don't want to waste millions of taxpayer's money building a motorway that will save a total of 2minutes in journey time and is totally unnecessary

Ciara Sullivan (Skerries, 2021-01-02)

#47

No to Navy route

David Hosford (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#50

No to navy M20 proposal. I'm signing this because the upgrading of the existing N20 to a high quality dual carriageway between Mallow and Blarney offers the best solution to the community.

Neal Cremin (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#56

I don’t want to see the protected wildlife species in our community destroyed by this motorway. Put the budget into upgrading the existing road, instead.

Lisa Matassa (Mallow, 2021-01-02)

#57

This is not the correct way to do this, make adjustments to the road already in place

Margaret Breen (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#58

Because its unnecessary to go through people's homes and plenty other routes could go and I have family living in corridor of route

Margaret Long (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#59

It’s causing unnecessary obstruction to people’s lives by running it through houses

Brian Osborne (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#62

Green route most cost effective and less disruptive on community, wildlife and heritage

Clara Cremin (Blarney Co Cork, 2021-01-02)

#66

Because Friends who live there will be affected badly by this route

Ann Tracey (DUBLIN, 2021-01-02)

#67

It’s too close to my house for my liking

Jacinta Quinlan (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#68

This is going to take my friends beautiful home and garden which they have built very recently away from them. I am originally from carrigrohane in Cork and am familiar with the area.

Emma Corrigan (Wicklow, 2021-01-02)

#70

The navy route can not even be considered as it will decimate the area.

Gerald Harold (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#74

Our community will be not only be split in two by this motorway but into pieces. Also in this day and age I belive motorways are not the awnser to transport, so much for a green agenda in this government......

Shane Cronin (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#75

There's a more appropriate option

Claire Hurley (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#78

This motorway would have a very negative impact on our neighbourhood

Joanne Condon (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#80

This affects people in my community and neighbouring communities

Margaret Murphy (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#86

It’s not the best route...

Catherine Keating (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#87

I do not think this is the best route, it will be too dangerous & cause many deaths, & too many families will have their lives upset

Donna Murphy (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#88

No to the navy route, no to disruption of families, wildlife, environment. Simply NO!

Linda Coleman (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#90

I strongly oppose the navy route option

Deirdre O'Sullivan (Blarney, 2021-01-02)

#92

We feel this navy route is most unsuitable from an economic, environmently and societal point of view. Building a motorway through a vibrant community, splitting families, friends, farms, busineses, and education providers is not the answer. This navy route will only creating major problems. This misuse of public funds cannot be allowed.

Pat & Catherine Cronin (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#94

It is due to run past the back of my house on tullig road .

Sharon Hayes (Whitechurch county cork, 2021-01-02)

#95

The existing road should be upgraded, absolutely shocking that agricultural land is being destroyed when the road infrastructure is already there

Ríona Ní Shúilleabháin (Dublin, 2021-01-02)

#96

I have lived in the area for 30+ years. I lived in Australia for 7 years and returned home to live here. We purchased a home 200metres from my family home. This navy route will ruin the local area.
The Mallow Road has in recent years been upgraded. The cost of building a second road (the navy route) and maintaining both these roads is a waste of money and saves 1 to 2min journey time from Rathduff to Blarney.

Lynda Lordan (Blarney, 2021-01-02)

#97

To protect the safety of my extended family and community to urge the planners not to take an easy option and to explore more sensible routes that do not desolate communities.

Marnie Porter (Cloyne, 2021-01-02)

#98

Waste of funds

imelda galvin (Co Cork, 2021-01-02)

#106

There are better options

Conor Healy (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#109

I am living where the navy route is proposed for and we are going to loose our home. I have 2 children going to the local school and they are fourth generation in this house. We do not want to move.

Barbara Murphy (Blarney, 2021-01-02)

#116

There are cheaper less intrusive options .
North ring needed and ugrade from two pot house to Limerick

Kevin Kelleher (Whitechurch, 2021-01-02)

#134

I believe that the navy route will have a negative impact on our community. Also it will be very close to my property.

Brady Monaghan (Lissard, 2021-01-02)

#145

It will affect my local area in a very bad way.

Ann O'Callaghan (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#146

I object to the Navy Route and the Green Route unless they maintain current access points for all residents in surrounding areas.

Noel Buckley (Whitechurch, 2021-01-02)

#154

I’m signing because my friends’ home is at risk if this goes ahead

Debbie Slevin (Leixlip, 2021-01-02)

#164

This would create a completely unnecessary 3rd route to mallow, further cutting off and separating a community from each other. This was done before for the current mallow road and a route that follows the current main road makes much more sense

Eoin Boland (Blarney, 2021-01-02)

#167

I oppose the Navy route due to the disastrous effect it would have on my home, family life, my place of work and the local community. I believe that it is unnecessary to destroy a whole area when the current road system which could be altered/updated already exists

Conor O’Sullivan (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#172

It is absurd that they want to put a motorway right through our back garden on land that generations of my family grew up on. The sheer arrogance of that alone is astounding. This is a burden that locals didn't ask for. And it is an action that has more cons than pros.

Carol Conway (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#176

I live on the route!!!!!

Amanda Dilworth (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#177

This is bad for area

Colin Whooley (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#193

I have land that wil be affected by the new m50

Richard Curtin (Cork, 2021-01-02)

#197

I’m signing because I object to the needless destruction of homes, farms and habitats in this route when there are other options.

Mary Houlihan (Mallow, 2021-01-02)

#199

I'm against this route. It will impact greatly on my daughter who has noise sensitivity.

Noel Coleman (Coolowen, 2021-01-02)
