I agree with the statement the petition has presented(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)

this petition rings true to my beliefs. Daisies has been dishonest by way of omission. the event was already very costly and to then rob loyal customers of the freedom that they seek at it is deplorable. daisies is not too big to fall and I think they've dug up a few holes in their own graves.(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)

I was not informed about the drinking rule(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)
#15
It’s getting way to expensive and we can’t bring our own alcohol in which makes this event more of a money making event !! Disappointed!!(Stellenbosch, 2018-09-08)
#18
WE WANT TO BRING OUR OWN LIQUIDS!(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)
#24
I believe that rocking the raises changed their terms and conditions after we agreed to a set of agreements which is criminal in my opinion(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)
#25
Rocking the daisies have gone to absolute shit. Fix it.(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)

RTD have had no transparency this year with their changes to the festival. They constantly claim it is all in our (the consumers’) interests or the environment’s interest, but their latest change to the festival (re not bringing in liquids) and the timing thereof has proven to us all that their changes are purely to increase profits for themselves and not benefit anyone else. I do not want to support a festival that constantly ignores and angers its paying customers.(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)
#27
The drink thing is ridiculous!!(Johannesburg, 2018-09-08)
#28
Undisclosed information was used to make a profit from people, causing a loss of money for many(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)
#33
This is so messed up! How can RTD ever think that this is okay??(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)
#39
Rocking the Daisies have made terrible decisions with regards to the event and as a result ticketholders are unable to sell their tickets since no one wants to go. We deserve to be compensated.(Cape Town, 2018-09-08)
#40
They have unethically subjected us to horrible news before the festival but after I can no longer get a refund for my ticket... I also believe this is against the spirit of daisies(Pretoria, 2018-09-08)
#41
I truly believe that we have been exploited. We were informed after 95% of ticket sales of a huge change to the festival and it not being stipulated in the terms and conditions or rules of the festival before ticket sales. Not only that but the ticket prices have thus depreciated hugely and we are unable to get our full return back due to this one change! It is exploitation and the not being able to bring alcohol into the festival gate means so much capital lost. Besides a lot of us plan in advance. I have bought a plane ticket and now I can't even get a return on that. Not to mention people who have already bought alcohol(Pretoria, 2018-09-08)
#46
The festival is no longer what I bought a ticket for(Cape Town, 2018-09-09)
#47
The changes made at Daisies this year are UNREASONABLE. I understood the price increases, the separate camping & no entering into certain campsites if you have general camping tickets, the downgrade in performances. But now to not allow liquids into the venue is just plain capitalism and they base it on the “environment”. And no refunds? Daisies don’t fix something that wasn’t broke.(Port Elizabeth, 2018-09-09)
#49
Because RTD has become a money making scheme that’s only interested in their profit margins and no longer presents a enjoyable experience(Cape Town, 2018-09-09)
#68
I agree to the petition(Cape town, 2018-09-09)
#71
The whole process has been frustrating. To buying camping tickets, expensive tickets, having to sell tickets through ticket pony. Everything was just over thought. Then after all of this, daisies announces the drinking rule, which as absolutely ridiculous. It’s not right. Nobody will even buy most of our tickets now. Daisies is dead.(Cape Town, 2018-09-09)
#80
They have really ruined the festival and the vibe that comes with it, so disappointed.(Cape Town, 2018-09-09)
#92
Minus one day but same price so expensiveNot allowed own alcohol so expensive
No good international acts but so expensive
COMPLETE RIP OFF
(Stellenbosch, 2018-09-09)

I am frustrated at the fact that Rocking The Daisies released this information 1 month prior to the festival, I would have purchased a ticket if this information had been provided before hand , I believe it is completely unfair on festival go-ers and students , who spent part of their monthly earnings on a festival which will cost them more money than actual enjoyment. Really disappointed with this event.(Port Elizabeth, 2018-09-10)
#104
Have lied to the customers. Undeclared information that is vitally important to the customers(George, 2018-09-10)
#107
RTD is scamming us ! It’s a money making scheme(Stellenbosch, 2018-09-10)
#110
This company is practicing unlawful contraventions of the Consumer Protection Act 2008 by changing essential material terms of the ticket sale contract after 95% of their tickets have sold out, and only 27 days before the start of the festival. This is unethical AND unlawful and customers must be offered a full refund if the company does not want to be taken to the Consumer Protection Board of South Africa, court, and the producers of Carte Blanche, all of which I am more than happy to pursue should I not be issued a refund in full(stellenbosch, 2018-09-10)
#115
Rocking the Daisies scammed us and we can no longer afford to go(Cape Town, 2018-09-10)
#121
You guys are being greedy*****s(East London, 2018-09-10)
#123
It's bullshit that they announce so late no liquids are to be brought to daisies and have no refunds?(Cape Town, 2018-09-10)
#129
AlcoholYou’re exploiting people for their money so we should have the option to refund
(Cape Town, 2018-09-10)
#137
Let us get a full refund so we can go to another festival where they care about what their customers want(Durban, 2018-09-10)
#139
daisies has ripped us of as the majority of us are students and had saved money to attend this festival. please do us a favor and just give our hard earned money back(durban, 2018-09-10)
#140
I don’t believe it’s right for them to allow no alcohol(Ballito, 2018-09-10)
#141
I’m signing because splitting the camping and the actual event ticket was one thing but banning liquids is the another thing. I have already spent a lot on this festival as it is and now I’m expected to buy alcohol there as well? A bit too far, I’d say Rocking the Daisies.(Cape Town, 2018-09-10)
#146
This is ridiculous. The RTD are robbing us. Why must we buy tickets then have it refunded with half my amount(Cape town, 2018-09-10)
#147
i want to bring the old daisies back!(cape town, 2018-09-10)
#152
I’m signing because rocking the dasies suddenly told us one month before the festival that we would not be allowed to take out own drinks into the festival! We can no longer sell our tickets as no one wants to buy them therefore we should be refunded.(Portelizabeth, 2018-09-10)
#155
You f’ed ya all with drinks last year by not allowing it into the jol, now we can’t even bring to the festival itself? Bullshit, then you want to split us into camping sites ?And all this alcohol nonsense for plastic reduction, meanwhile a ghastly amount of cups will be used to replace the re-usable bottles festival goers usually bring for convenience
(Cape Town, 2018-09-10)
#162
I bought my tickets before the artists and new rules were announced and I am not happy with them so I should be given the choice to get a refund(Cape Town, 2018-09-10)
#169
I’m signing this petition because Daisies is not what it used to be any more. It is highly commercialized and event organizers are simply in the game to increase profits.(Cape Town, 2018-09-11)
#172
Because they only informed the ticket holders of the no drinks allowed in the festival after they have bought their tickets(Bellville, 2018-09-11)
#173
I want my money back(Cape town, 2018-09-11)
#179
RTD are running a business instead of the massive bender that everyone grew to love(Cape Town, 2018-09-11)
#185
I think it's really unfair the way they handled this case(Pretoria, 2018-09-12)
#189
It is not fair that they only tell us after buying tickets that we cannot bring alcahol, how on earth are we suppose to enjoy ourselves. Also most of the people who make up this event are students and don't have money to buy drinks there, it's inconsiderate and exploitive to the less fortunate who dep nded on going there with thry own drinks. This was a sick move, a lot of people and myself are dissapointed It's either they let us go with alcahol or refund our money because we were blindsided they have no humanity.
(Cape Town, 2018-09-12)
#191
It was wrong of them to inform us after we’ve already paid for a different deal. We are asking if we can bring body lotion and our make up and Rocking The Daisies has stopped responding to our questions and they are leaving us in the dark. This is not how I wanted to experience the build up to my first experience of going to a festival at all.(Cape Town, 2018-09-12)
#192
I’m signing because of the change in the liquid policy which infringes on my consumer rights.(Stellenbosch, 2018-09-12)
