I will vote DA on the 3rd of August for a better future.
The Quarterly Labour Force Survey has revealed that the DA-run City of Cape Town created 4000 jobs, while overall 355,000 people lost their job in the first 3 months of the year.
The DA governed City of Cape Town (CoCT) has created 4 000 jobs in the first quarter of 2016 – which is the highest job gain in the country.
The ANC governed metros of Ekurhuleni, Tshwane and Johannesburg, on the other hand, have shed jobs to the tune of 111 000, 30 000 and 24 000 respectively according to the latest figures emanating from StatSA’s Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS).
Additionally, the official unemployment rate in CoCT is 21.1% whereas the ANCgoverned metropolitan of Nelson Mandela Bay is at a shocking 33.2%.
This shows that that where the DA governs we are making progress. There is much more work still to do. Where the DA does not govern yet, we want to bring this change to municipalities across the country. This is change that creates jobs, delivers better services, and stops corruption.
This is the change that will move South Africa forward again.

In Parliament today it was revealed by the Public Investment Corporation that President Zuma’s decision to fire Nhlanhla Nene had a major impact on the Pension Fund.
Today, the Public Investment Corporation conceded that it lost R99 billion within 48 hours of President Jacob Zuma firing former Minister of Finance, Nhlanhla Nene, on 09 December 2015.
The Public Investment Corporation, provides financial services to several large clients, including principally the Government Employees Pension Fund, and has R1.8 trillion in assets under management.
This is a stark reminder of how much damage was done to pensioners ‘ savings and proof that President Jacob Zuma was dead wrong when he claimed the effect of his disastrous decisions was "exaggerated" in South Africa.
This demonstrates again just how much the ANC has changed. It is no longer the party of Nelson Mandela. The DA will bring change that will move South Africa forward again, by creating jobs, delivering better services, and stopping corruption
