And actually, I don't know where you got your information.  It was incorrect for the 2011 - 2012 school year and it is wrong for the 2012 - 2013 year too.  Dekalb will start 2012 - 2013 on August 13 (http://www.dekalb.k12.ga.us/calendar/ataglance12.html), Gwinett will start on August 6 (http://www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us/gcps-mainweb01.nsf/9B864844ACC9811F8525792F007FD182/$file/GCPS_Calendar_2012-2013.pdf), Fulton will start August 13 (http://www.boarddocs.com/ga/fcss/Board.nsf/files/8N2L745438C6/$file/Staff%20Recommendation%20Calendar%202012-2013%20101811.pdf) and Cobb starts August 13 (http://www.cobbk12.org/generalinfo/calendars/2012-13/2012-2013SchoolYearCalendar_0211.pdf).

 

So, really, you should make sure YOU know what you are talking about before accusing other peole of babbling.
