It is insane by the Govt. of Russia, they want to control people, they do not want their people to free thinker.
It is pity, reminds me of Hitler time.

this is ridiculous how can you ban sacred text of one great religion.I hope something should be done to prevent this

It is utterly ludicrous that the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, the scripture for more than one billion human beings on this planet should be brought into question as an extremist literature. Although spoken on a battlefield, the teachings clearly promote non-violence and spiritual values that are exalted by all religions worldwide. It is shocking that such ignorance of the truth should be getting so much traction in the courts. Dismiss this case at once. It is insanity to do otherwise.

Международное общество сознания Кришны (МОСК или ISKCON) в России представлено местными религиозными организациями, объединёнными Центром обществ сознания Кришны (далее ЦОСКР). Иные ведические, вайшнавские, индийские организации к МОСК не относятся.

МОСК основан религиозным деятелем, последователем гаудио вайшнавизма Бхактиведантой Свами для распространения духовного знания в обществе и развития отношений между членами Общества Сознания Кришны. Основой вероисповедания последователей МОСК, гаудия вайшнавов, выступают переводы Бхактиведанты Свами к Бхагавад-гите, Бхагавата пуране и Чайтанья Чаритамрите, а также комментарии основателя МОСК к названным древним произведениям.

Будучи динамической, обновляющейся организацией с постоянным притоком новых последователей, Общество сознания Кришны уделяет особое внимание разъяснению смыслов древних священных писаний и комментариев Бхактиведанты. Для этого действуют институты наставничества и ученичества. Официальные разъяснения содержания священных писаний могут давать только обученные и получившие соответствующую квалификацию представители МОСК.

За более чем 20-летнюю историю существования и развития в России Общество сознания Кришны зарекомендовало себя как законопослушная, аполитичная организация, уважающая личность и общество, стремящаяся к сотрудничеству с различными религиозными, культурными и социальными группами, следующая принципу ненасилия (ахимса). МОСК выполняет положительную социальную роль, оно интегрировано в гражданское общество через сотрудничество с местными администрациями, участие в благотворительных и культурных программах, научных конференциях. МОСК положительным образом зарекомендовало себя в обществе многолетней благотворительной и социально-реабилитационной деятельностью, осуществляемой такими программами, как «Пища жизни», «Шанс» и др., разворачиваемыми в незащищенной и потенциально неблагополучной социальной среде.

В условиях установления уполномоченными органами в действиях общественных, религиозных и пр. организаций признаков экстремизма в соответствии с содержанием Закона о противодействии экстремистской деятельности в РФ, ЦОСКР считает необходимым сформулировать следующие принципиальные положения:

1) деятельность МОСК построена на принципах свободы, высокой нравственности, сострадания и милосердия; отрицает радикальные насильственные и уничижительные формы отношения к человеку;
2) ЦОСКР осуждает любые агрессивные действия по отношению к каким-либо группам в связи с их религиозной и национальной принадлежностью;
3) учение МОСК осуждает высказывания, возбуждающие расовую, национальную или религиозную ненависть или вражду;
4) лекции и семинары, организованные и проводимые для последователей МОСК, не содержат призывов к нарушению прав человека, подстрекательства к насильственным действиям, нарушению конституционных прав, а также дискриминации людей по религиозной и расовой принадлежности.
5) лекторы МОСК владеют культурой речи, используют нормативную лексику и не обращаются к языковым средствам и приёмам для передачи негативных установок и побуждений к действиям, направленным против человека или группы лиц по религиозной, расовой, этнической и половой принадлежности;
6) печатная продукция МОСК не несёт угроз общественной безопасности и поэтому не наносит вред обществу и государству; напротив, этические и философские положения гаудиа-вайшнавизма воспитывают умонастроения духовного равенства людей, эмпатии, милосердия, сострадания и учат беззаветному служению Высшему нравственному принципу;
7) текстологическими источниками позиции МОСК по отношению к экстремизму можно считать следующие положения Бхагавад-гиты, отображающие основные морально-этические принципы гаудиа вайшнавов: а)относиться без вражды ко всем живым существам (11.55); б) видеть истинное равенство всех живых существ (5.18, 6.32); в) благотворительность, владение чувствами, простота, отказ от насилия, правдивость, негневливость, спокойствие, сострадание ко всем живым существам, отсутствие алчности, мягкость, скромность, способность прощать… – таковы качества праведных людей (16.3). Очевидно, что приведенные положения исключают проявление насилия, дискриминации и экстремизма во всех формах.

any attempt of dishonour to bhagavadgita shall be a seen as suppressing religious freedom and against sanathanadharma(hinduism).

Banning an Ancient scripture that is considered sacred by a billion of people will show the intolerance of Russian society in general and it's lack of understanding of the worldly affairs in particular.

India is a friendly country. Indians masses share positive opinion about Russian Nation. Then why this sudden animosity for India and it's scriptures ?.

Banning Bhagavad Gita isn't just about banning a book, it's about banning a friendly country and it's way of life.

Please don't ban your friends ...Russia.

The entire Vedic Religion, or Krishna Conscious philosophy is compressed into this sacred mantra. Anyone who chants it will gradually re-awaken their dormant love for God.

Bhagavad-gita As-It-Is is the main scripture for the whole world and should be embraced by all of the thinking leaders of the world as offering the best hope for bringing the world back from the brink of distruction due to so much greed, lust, and corruption....Chant Hare Krishna and give peace a chance.

The people of Russia want to live in peace and the best way to have that peace is to permit them to freely read the Bhagavad-gita As-It-Is and to allow them to chant Hare Krishna together with the rest of the free world.

Bhagavad Gita As It Is by Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is most read and appreciated text in the whole world. Bhagavad Gita is the sacred text followed by Hindus in India from past 5000 years. Its evident from History that Hindu religion is the most peaceful religion. Stating Bhagavad Gita on which whole Hindu religion is based, as an extremist literature and provoking hatred is completely baseless.

Bhagavad-Gita is the universal knowledge. It is the most ancient wisdom there is. Attempt to ban it will prove to be a futile exercise. It will only lead to more awareness about it.

Bhagavad Gita should not be banned. It is a spiritual text applicable and helpful to all beings irrespective of which religion they want to follow.

Every one should have the right to
choose the way they want to communicate
with God. Bhagavad Gita was spoken by God himself as well.

 

Bhagavdgita is a life manual for each and every human being on this planet. Let us rotect this treasure.
