Muziek en kultuur zijn de grootste waarden in het leven. De muziek is internationaal en heeft geen taal nodig. Iedereen verstaat in de muziek gevoelens van pijn, vreugde ... zonder te moeten spreken.
Dit is het grootste geschenk van God wat men probeert te vernietigen door kostensparingen!
Een zeer foute beslissing!!!!

It is of the utnost cultural importance that the orchestra of the Flemish Opera will be able to keep on performing their part in the rich tradition of opera. It is one of the best orchestras of Belgium and it would be à disgrace to silence it. Doping that, it would silence a significantt part of Belgium culture. And it would be à great loss for the music world in general.

Music transports people to another world, peaceful, like when we read a book, like when we see a picture... Art was always important for the humanity, in Antwerp and Gent people is really lucky to have this nice opera orchestra sharing and giving nice energie for the people. Please, keep this orchestra and if there are economical problems try to give another solution, thanks.

Because culture is vital for a community. The orchestra is a magnificent ensemble in perfect symbiosys with the ballet, choir, solists and every participant of the opera.they should never be separated.

Eerst'waarom is deze petitie niet in het Nederlands ..?
Cultuur en politiek gaat gewoonlijk niet samen in Vlaanderen.
Schande als men weerom een orkest laat verdwijnen,misschien eens een cultuurminister benoemen die iets heeft met cultuur..?

Ik ben een cultuurliefhebber en ga regelmatig naar opera, toneel en concerten. Voor een gelukkig en evenwichtig leven is cultuur van het hoogste belang. Ben ook solidair met de werknemers van het orkest.
