I hope everyone who receive this petition will sign it. This has cost the country millions. It is unfair that some should benefit trough the suffering of others. Lock up the idiots who buy the copper and electrocute the ones who steal it.

Why must South Africzens be without electeicity in the middle of winter. Its 2014 and the police still dont know hpw toninvestigate and bring those responsible to justice and put special security into place to make sure its not recurring.

Cable theft is an act of sabotage and should be treated as a direct attack on the country and it residents. The sale of copper as scrap metal should be made illegal and businesses who is caught dealing in copper should to be closed down immediately.

The municipality can do more to protect the sub-stations. As a way of job creation the municipality should appoint guards to protect and monitor the sub stations in centurion.

We pay a great deal of money for electricity why can’t they take more preventative measures in stopping the thieves. . Make resale of 2 hand copper illegal
