Reinstate "open container" law in Delray during block parties

SO, the we did it! The mayor is reconsidered and is hearing from the community!

Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach the Mayor has instructed me to announce a Special Meeting of the City Commission to be held for the following purposes:

1. APPEAL OF THE CITY MANAGER’S DECISION/H J O’CONNOR PUB, INC.: Consider an appeal of the City Manager’s decision to deny a request from Heather Johansen, President, H. J. O’Connor’s Pub, Inc., to extend their alcohol license premise on March 15, 2014 from noon until 8:00 p.m. (Quasi-Judicial Hearing)

2. APPEAL OF THE CITY MANAGER’S DECISION/BRU’S ROOM: Consider an appeal of the City Manager’s decision to deny a request from Bob Brudzinski, Owner, Bru’s Room to extend their alcohol license

We Have already made headway!

Looks like we are already being noticed! Adam Frankle from the city commission has posted our petition  on his facebook and signed it..... He has also asked that whoever wants to come and talk to the City Commission to come on 2/24! I plan on getting a group together who ever is intrested please let me know.

He also suggested that we write emails to the following people.....
