The v6 turbo is a great motor but it lacks the soul that the previous years of f1 has had. I feel as though if the v10 or even v8’s were brought back it would challenge the teams to make an ultra efficient and reliable naturally aspirated engine but also get the fans back into the sport. im signing this petition as a v10, 18,000rpm lover . those engines and great sounds brought the sport to what it is , because without it , it would just sound plain and boring seeing those cars drive around without a good sound. But, it actually formed the sport as being known as “super loud fast cars” that we all got hooked to when we were younger because of that. the v10’s would light up the sport, introduce a new generation into our beloved formula 1 passion and may even bring future World Champions.

As a U.S. based, long time fan of Formula 1, I miss the sounds of the naturally aspirated V10s that are more entertaining for the fans at the track and on television. Racing fans attend and follow for the experience, a large part of which is the sound. Most will not remember the pole lap time or best lap of the race but they will remember the roar of the engines. That’s an integral part of Formula 1.
