This is a historic Road and of great value to tourism and locals who live in this and surrounding areas!
I ask this petition be conserved and approved for many positive reasons, too many to list here! Thank you, Peter Edwards

Duck Creek Road access/ exit from Green Mountain will enhance safety and promote additional tourism. Improve the existing roadwork to provide a valuable and attractive alternative road.

This will be a huge benefit to our region

Duck creek is the easiest of drives and although steep a much easier option than the very windy alternative especially for people who suffer from motion sickness

Connectivity is critical for our region and it’s incredibly disappointing that this road has been closed for so long, both for tourism and accessibility for locals.

We were regular users of Duck Creek Road prior to its closure. It was an excellent option travelling to Lamington National Park due to the natural beauty and views. Also it provided a second access to the park in the event of natural disasters.

I love the Lamington National Park and all the beautiful paths and walkways, roads, history.
Also - bring back the pademelons - there used to be hundreds in the 1950's.
You all do an amazing job up there. We are so lucky to have the Lamington National Park and all its beautiful animals, birds, trees and don't forget the staff!! You are all amazing.

This was an amazing connection road through breathtaking forest. It increased the tourism potential of the area and also provided much needed emergency access.

It is a significant and useful route and seven years is too long!

This road/track should be re opened for the public. There needs to be more off road activity’s we can enjoy, The area we live in is full of so many beautiful places and we can’t access them Or use them it’s wrong. Let people Enjoy the outdoors and be apart of the natural environment around them. Even if we had to pay a small fee each time these tracks were wanted to be used just like the beach driving. Or engage a small group of local community members that would be willing to do track clean ups and remove fallen trees from the tracks. I myself would be very happy to volunteer my time for something like this.

I have previously enjoyed the trip along Duck Creek Rd in amazing surroundings. I think it’s a very good idea to have another route into O’Reillys for safety reasons

We enjoy both the Kerry Valley and O'Reillys and would like to benefit from being able to combine the two locations easily during one visit. We often camp at Ladybrook Farm which is close to the start of Duck Creek Road.

I'm signing because only have 1 road to O'Reillys is limiting its commercial potential, limits the ability of the public to enjoy the national park, and is also a safety hazard should the main road to O'Reillys is ever cut.

I go between ORIELYS and Stanthorpe frequently. Huge short cut

I am signing because I loved driving up to oreilleys and spending a day up there going the scenic way up. I also rode my mountain bike up there as well. It's a beautiful location and it was my go to place for an easy day trip. Please reopen it so my family can enjoy it again

I’m signing this petition because it is a great track that takes u up to some beautiful scenery. It also benefits business at lamington, Beaudesert and Canungra by people who use the track.

When I first got into adventure riding duck creek road was a great road to take where I could learn from other people with plenty of support around.

It was always the highpoint of the day and we'd have lunch at O'Reillys at the top

It is a wonderful alternative to the normal way to the most magical place in QLD and grandfather used to use this route
