I thought was there to help VVeterans not to show a Big profit . Slowly the RBL is losing it's core values. As a Veteran I am seeing service that in place tohelp Veyerans turn it back on those who claim they are there for veterans.First Combat Stress now RBL soon the NHS.

The respite centres have been a great help to me and my family for I have to live in benefits cause I can’t work anymore and it’s the break my family and I get when I can get into the centre it’s always busy and to think you will be putting a lot of people out of work that are very caring for veterans do not do this.(Belfast, 2019-11-22)

They get away with too much these days. It must be stopped(Chelmsford, 2019-11-22)
#1057
A much needed facility for veterans and their families. Not everyone has the means to travel overseas to get away for a break in a safe environment. I know many families who look forward to respite in these facilities with like minded people. Veterans cannot afford to lose these local respite facilities. Shame on RBL to even consider closing these facilities.(Ballymoney, 2019-11-22)

Byng House provides a directpersonal caring service that is well received and necessary. It is not a "talking shop" nor an excuse for endless case and other meetings by so-called experts.

I'm signing because I stayed in Somerset Legion House only last week my husband served 25 years in the RAF we did not know you could stay at such a place but I have been ill so made an inquiry. I went on my own but would have liked to go back one day with my husband. I got diagnosed with cancer the week before my stay so only managed four nights instead if seven. It was a tonic a wonderful place with caring staff. Others staying there need that respite from the outside world. Please consider keeping the one in Weston open it is a credit to the legion a flagship that shines brightly in the crown of the legion(Gloucester, 2019-11-22)

Our service men & women serve to protect us, putting their lives on the line in the process. The very least they deserve is somewhere that provides respite when the time comes that they needed it.
