I think that local councils should be supporting individuals contributingto their local communities. I am sure that in the current circumstances the council should be able to find more worthwhile things to spend their money on!

It would be a great tragedy to see a traditional business like this one removed from a community, independent cycle shops are having a hard time at present In this throwaway society. Don’t lose it use it.Roger Galley (Hayling island, 2020-06-28)

Im signing this because I live in Dibles road and have never had a problem with Warsash cycles when we walk past there is no mess or noise. A great service to the local community and very much needed to make sure all bikes are roadworthy and safe.Kim Chase (Southampton, 2020-06-28)

Local small business and services to the local community should be encouraged not hindered! This is a service which benefits the local community and hurts nobody. Whoever complained should be ashamed of themselves in my opinion.Jackie Eagle (Park Gate, 2020-06-28)

I regularly make deliveries to Warsash Cycles and the guys there are not only very welcoming but are also very conveniently located near to park land and a whole host of other routes that are suitable for bike riding. A great local company and service for both locals and those travelling from further afield.Chris Logan (Andover, 2020-06-28)

I support local business endeavours such as Warsash Cycles. With the closure of Solent Cycles in Whiteley there is little maintenance service for bicycles in the Western WardDuncan Borthwick (Warsash, 2020-06-28)

Great local businessman provides a valuable service reducing the need for me to drive a distance in my diesel car to get my bike repaired, so good environmentally to have in the village. It has minimal impact at its location on Dibles Road from what I can see, and I know the area well having lived here 25 years.Paul Clements (Warsash, 2020-06-28)

We should be encouraging innovation and supporting those trying to pay their way through life. In these difficult times, is this really a problem. Please support a man making a living, who is causing no problem for others.Christie Beynon (Sherfield-on-loddon, 2020-06-30)

I'm signing because I support this business. In the current climate bicycles are going to be more important than ever as a safer mode of transport. We are being encouraged to walk and cycle so why would you want to close a viable and necessary business? There is no noise, no fumes from repairing bicycles. I would suggest someone has a grudge, don't allow this business to be bullied, please support them.Joanna Hunt (Swansea, 2020-06-30)

Give this guy, and anyone else who is trying to get a business off the ground, a break. God knows it's hard enough anyway without some well paid bureaucrats breathing down your neck. Could you do it? Probably notJohn Melville (Swansea, 2020-06-30)
