(Buffelspoort, 2019-12-18)

#874

I believe mining is a destructive practice and one cannot undo the damage. SA has a distinct lack of regulatory and monitoring making this unlikely. I do not support this application and ask that mining any high-impact zones be denied.

(Buffelspoort, 2019-12-23)

#928

The Mine industry in South Africa eating up everything good in its way to produce money for the shareholders of the diffirent mine groups (most of them not even SA citizens) It is all about money and power. The surrounding areas looks like the moon, no rehab sometimes. Their mine activaties also drains our groundwater levels that are in most parts of the country the only source of water for humans and animals. Corruption and bribery also benifits the shareholders and leaders of South Africa and not the local communities working day in and day out at the mines to make a poor living. I say no to this bright idea and the *******s who wants to make this happens.

(Rustenburg, 2019-12-23)

#934

it is a beautiful dam and surrounding area extremely popular.

(Rustenburg, 2019-12-23)

#948

This is a protected area for many years! You will destroy our mountain ridge and the rest of the eco Centre!

(Rustenburg, 2019-12-23)

#950

This area is designated according to the Rustenburg Spatial Development Framework for landuse agriculture tourism and rural living. As a local resident, member of the Magaliesberg Protection Association and having signed a pledge to Uneso to preserve this area as a Biosphere, we strongly object to the degradation of this natural area for mining. Mining areas, despite the mitigating measures promised in the EIA of such applications can never be rehabilitated to their former state therefor the damage caused for a dubious financial gain of the few is permanent and will be felt by generations to come. The resources in this mining proposal are not scarce nor of critical strategic value. The negative effects will far outweigh the flimsy arguments of increases employment that these mining companies promise.

(Rustenburg, 2019-12-23)

#956

please do not destroy our eco system as done in so many areas in SA!!

(Hartbeespoort, 2019-12-23)

#957

Stop mining

(Pretoria, 2019-12-23)

#960

My family has lived in this area for more than 100 years. Its one of our areas most iconic and beautiful biosfeeres. My grandfathers house was burned during the 2nd aglo boer war and he still lives in that house that was built up from the ground after the war. This place is part of my herritage.

(MOOINOOI, 2019-12-23)

#961

To save Buffelspoort dam and surround environment

(Mooinooi, 2019-12-23)

#976

We have lost enough of our lovely and clean water sources. We often as a family enjoy watersports on Buffelpoort. Mining activity is in its nature fueled by greed and have no respect for life is an which way.
Please stop the proposed mining before all is lost an irreversible damages is suffered.
Only the rich will benefit. There is already enough of our environment destroyed and mines left abandoned, why start a new one?

(Brits, 2019-12-23)

#977

The mine is destoying our houses as the tiles are loosened by their blasting and more people are getting sick as to the dust they send into the admosphere

(Mooinooi, 2019-12-23)

#995

The mining industry destroy the environment, no matter what rehabilitation processes are followed. In the meantime, surrounding communities have to suffer from dust polution, earth trembles that damage property infrastructure and excessive noice levels from the explosives blasts scaring off wildlife and birds.

(Mooinooi, 2019-12-23)

#996

I am signing because we as human beings cannot be separated from water. We are water and any contamination of our waterways is actually a contamination of our souls. Our waterways must be protected at all costs from all sorts of negative usage. When the water is dead or dried up we cannot drink gold or platinum. We will dry up and die with it.

(Tshwane, 2019-12-23)
