This is murder. 3 with knife against 1. We're not safe walking a dog in a park? His parents deserve justice. My deepest condolences to the family.

I’m signing because we need to be fair and justice, the situation needs to be re examined. Getting stabbed 6+ times is beyond self defence and if the attacked has a prior that should be more concerning. The attacker may be a kid and should be treated for mental health illnesses in a safe facility before allowed back to society. If we let this go then the attacker may commit the same crime again and may turn to worse things, prevent the worse from happening now before is too Late

It is unacceptable decision to let KILLER go free. Clearly it can't be self-defence to stab unarmed men 6 times. That's murder!

Mike Filatov (Port Moody, 2023-04-10)

#639

Justice needs to be served. There is absolutely no way those guys should get away Scott free. Senseless act.

Maiya Whelpton (Langley, 2023-04-10)

#663

I want justice for Anton. No one who takes away a life so senselessly should be let to walk free in our community. The justice system has failed us.

Devon Wood (Coquitlam, 2023-04-11)

This is absurd that a person known by the police with an aggressive history does not even get charged after murdering an innocent person in basically broad daylight at a school even after charges were recommended by IHIT.

christopher Johnson (Prince George, 2023-04-12)

I don’t believe it was self-defense. This is taunting and gang mentality while armed with a weapon.

Casey Benson (Abbotsford, 2023-04-12)

#692

If this murdered man was a police officer the case would be treated differently. This man’s killer needs to be brought to court and justice served.

A crime was committed, a life was taken, the perpetrators need to face the consequences of their actions. Why do we have a justice system?

Julie Bellrose (Campbell River, 2023-04-16)

What happened was unjust.

Kevin Bohn (Nanaimo, 2023-04-16)

#707

I cannot believe someone involved in a stabbing is not detained

Bernice Courson (Langley, 2023-04-16)

#708

3 armed against 1 unarmed and they walk away free??? How is this right ? How’s this self defence? Murders must be punished!!

Irina Kuznetsova (Surrey, 2023-04-16)

#713

Our justice system is out of control. There is no way any of this could be self defence. If the murderer was properly dealt with after assaulting a police officer this attack would have never happened.

Robert Panattoni (Campbell River, 2023-04-18)

#714

Murders should be scrutinized to the highest possible standard, and details of the case should be in the public eye. I find it deplorable that somebody has been stabbed to death in our community and there is no criminal prosecution for the purpatrator. The threshold for stabbing somebody to death in self defense should be VERY high. Something stinks here.

Scott Wiltshire (Port Coquitlam, 2023-04-18)

This is unjustified!
