Pastina is not only a meal but an important part of Italian-American culture and history. My mother ate it as a baby, I ate it as a baby, my children ate it. And even better, we all still enjoy a bowl - it is Italian comfort food. Accompanied by only little salt, butter and parmesan, or mixed into Nonno’s chicken soup - deliziosa! Perfetta!Cindy Caruso Aquila (Franklin Lakes, 2022-12-29)

Ronzoni Pastina is an Italian American tradition and a signal ornament of our culinary culture. Babies eat it as an early nutrition - with an egg. Kids eat it with butter and cheese after school as a snack before homework. Working moms put it in soups to feed a family. And even the elderly eat it as an easy one dish meal that is is quick and uncomplicated to prepare. How do I know all this? Because my grandmother ate it. My mother eats it, I eat it and my nieces and nephews eat it. It is intergenerational sustenance.
Please please please do not discontinue this. You know not what you do.
