An injust is being forced on all Retirees

Saul Santiago (Brooklyn, 2022-04-03)

#6806

I want all retirees to keep the health insurance we signed up for and not be swindled into taking a plan we never agreed to. Do not punish the present retirees. Make the changes to health coverage on future retirees!!

DENISE MCLEAN-WALCOTT (NYC, 2022-04-03)

#6810

I'm signing because it is imperative that we all receive the benefits that we worked for.

Janet O'Hare (Jackson Heights, 2022-04-03)

#6812

I think it's patently unfair to reduce public employees retirement and health benefits to find other programs..

Frank Breslau (Teaneck, 2022-04-03)

#6815

I don’t want my health plan to change.

Maria Irakliotis (Boynton Beach, 2022-04-03)

I don't want my medial coverage to change unless it offers better coverage for less money

Charles Vaicels (Queens New York, 2022-04-03)

#6821

I worked hard for over 40 years in the NYPD protecting the great people of New York City and served my country proudly and I am a Veteran as a result.
I was told that I was going to have health coverage for life and that it’s cost would remain constant. I only ask that the City of New York hold up it’s end of the bargain. Bill Callahan

William Callahan (South Nyack, 2022-04-03)

#6822

I’m signing this petition because I believe in our cause. I believe that the city should deliver he as org benefits as promised years ago when we all began to work for the city. We should Not be penalized and pay any monthly fees for staying with our original Medicare and emblem health.

Sophie Kerbeykian (Forest Hills, 2022-04-03)

#6823

I want to keep my Medicare health insurance coverage

Gloria Borres (NYC, 2022-04-03)

PRESERVE NYC EMPLOYEES’ HEALTHCARE

Margaret Toner (New york, 2022-04-04)

#6832

One day, this will affect my retirement.
Our healthcare is of the utmost importance to us. Medicare is the way to go, NOT Medicare Advantage.

Merryl Casanova (Howard Beach, 2022-04-04)

#6835

This is the only organization that represents retirees fairly.

Richard Salter (New City, 2022-04-04)

#6840

I want to stay with GHI CBD

James Bonczek (New York, 2022-04-04)

#6842

I'm signing because the City of New York wants to break a contract that it and I entered into when I joined FDNY in 1967. I fought fires in the City for 32 years. I kept my end of the contract. The City should keep up its end.

Joseph Hehir (NISKAYUNA, 2022-04-04)

#6845

The Advantage Plan does not meet my needs and is not what I was promised when I retired.

Karen Mauro (Boca Raton, 2022-04-04)

#6847

No need to change something that is not broken but working very well.

Alphonse Mancuso (Wanaque, 2022-04-04)

#6849

I am signing because I am against privatization of Medicare. I am for the only sensible alternative, creating a single payer national health care system, which would be the most economical and also most patient oriented. It would separate health care from employment and insure everyone.

Veronika Conant (New York, 2022-04-04)

#6851

I’m signing because I would like to maintain the “same” coverage that was granted to me when I retired.

Gary Hecht (Brooklyn, 2022-04-04)

#6853

I recently retired and have a very ill husband with cancer. We cannot afford to have a substandard health care plan nor incur any extra expenses at this time.

Paula McKinnon (New York, 2022-04-04)

#6854

I don’t think that the majority of members can afford to keep their current Medicare if they will need to pay for it. The new plan is inferior to what we had. It will greatly impact their lives in their senior years.

Andrea Mesher (Boca Raton, 2022-04-04)

#6856

I am signing for my retired in laws.

Jasmine Shapiro (Brooklyn, 2022-04-04)

#6857

I’m signing because I kept my word - 27 years of service with CUNY and SUNY. Not it’s time for NY to keep its word and provide the health insurance as promised, at the rate promised- basically free.

Susan Brillhart (Staten Island, 2022-04-04)

#6860

It’s unfair and inequitable!

Barbara Tunney (Mineola, 2022-04-04)

Paul Knopf (New York, 2022-04-04)

#6887

Important to protect the current benefits of retires and the network currently in place.

Anthony Ronda (New City, 2022-04-04)

#6888

I support keeping my Medicare health program as promised to past NYC employees.

Janet M. Mackey (FORT PIERCE, 2022-04-04)

#6894

there is a hard ship for many people to pay extra

charles dangelo (new rochelle, 2022-04-04)

#6900

Stop moving the goal posts after the game has started!!! So many retirees would never be able to afford this monthly expense!!

Denise Connolly (Yorktown, 2022-04-04)

#6901

I want to keep my present healthcare coverage, GHI Senior care and the traditional Medicare.

Juan Cerezo (Monroe, 2022-04-04)

#6904

I'm signing because city retirees are being railroaded by larger organizations, United Federation of Teachers, the American Federation of Teachers and the City of New York into accepting an inferior plan than what is and has been offered in the past. This deal is due to poor negotiation strategies by the UFT in seeking raises for its members in the past at the expense of all City retirees. Choice of plans is the basic tenant of this issue and no mandatory enrollment with sanction if you decide to abstain (personal payment to remain in current healthcare plan). The City should withdraw its appeal.

Peter Caso (Wantagh, 2022-04-04)

#6909

I agree with Judge Frank and I do not want Mayor Adams to appeal the ruling.

Joseph Sullivan (eastchester, 2022-04-04)

#6916

I cannot afford increase

Donna Fox (Old Bridge, 2022-04-04)

I think myself and others should have good health care when we retire.

Adina Mulliken (New Rochelle, 2022-04-04)

#6931

I want to keep Medicare and Emblem Senior Care at no cost.

Vincent Guinta (New Jersey, 2022-04-04)

#6938

It is an insult to my judgment to believe that the city can save 5-6 million dollars by having retirees join a "for profit" health care plan which they claim is as good as or better than medicare.

donald Schroeder (NYC, 2022-04-04)

#6940

To avoid the negative financial burden it would place on retirees family as well as the demeaned health coverage it would provide.

mike kelly (Astoria, 2022-04-04)

#6943

It is an infringement of my agreement with the city of NY.

Brian Strenge (West Hurley, 2022-04-04)

#6944

I want to retain my traditional Medicare at not cost that was guaranteed both while I was working and when I retired.

Susan Sarris (Sarasota, 2022-04-04)

#6945

It is unfair to pay 200 per person to keep my old plan.

Myrna Silberman (New City, 2022-04-04)

#6947

I want to keep my current health benefits

Barbara Bamfield (Mt. Kisco, 2022-04-04)

#6948

I believe the prior agreement we had with the city did not have an expiration date therefore there is no need for change

William F Roche (Syosset, 2022-04-04)

#6951

I don’t want my medical coverage changed

Frani Rothkin (East Meadow, 2022-04-04)

#6955

I do not want to change my coverage

Edward Arale (New York, 2022-04-04)

#6958

The City should not be permitted to change retirees health benefits. We retired with the plan we had and plan accordingly financially. Changes will have the most detrimental effect on long time retirees on a limited fixed income…it’s disgraceful.

Catherine Viverito (Manchester, 2022-04-04)

#6964

Retirees benefits should not be diminished or changed for those already retired.

Michael Cohen (Islip, 2022-04-05)

#6965

i want no cost health benefits that i was promised

joseph delgrosso (new york, 2022-04-05)
