We as citizens of alberton are tired of leaving our waste bins outside for heaven knows how many days. It is Included on our accounts.
If we dont get service on the days we are supposed to, then the DRIVER'S get paid overtime because we dont have sufficient trucks and dumping sites to go to. When they do arrive at the dump site they wait hours to be off loaded

Service by local council is disgraceful. We pay our taxes, but never get services. In jacoba street alberton north, sewerage overflows at least once every 2 weeks for the last 6 months. Refuse collection is often 3 days late, but we are penalized us we pay our rates late. Council managers should be penalized for failure to provide services paid for, especially the mayor.

I'm signing because the late collection of waste create a unhygienic situation each and every week. Due to the chances of Wheeli bin theft property owners are forced to move bins in and out of their property for up to 3 and 4 days per week. Better communication on the replan schedule will already be a start. If you will not come on Monday, tell us in advance what day it will be.
