I agree with all of the above.

The trees are essential for noise reduction.
I still support the bus corridor but using old navan road is the best option.

Andrew Schmidt (Dublin, 2020-10-14)

Noise of traffic will be intrusive, and these trees that are there are needed for the balance of environment.

We need trees 🌲

These bus corridors are only a short term solution. We need to go underground !!

I totally disagree with this proposal. I live in Auburn Close and I notice the noise from the traffic can be heard louder in Winter when the trees aren’t as full.

I’m a local resident who thinks the trees reduce the noise coming from the N3

We need to protect our environment, and green space, it is unfair and totally inconsiderate to local residents to remove these beautiful trees and shrubs. I believe Fingal County Council have to realize this is not an acceptable solution to traffic problems in the area.
We have the M50 and N3 on our doorstep, and have to endure the constant traffic noise from these. To do away with trees and greenery will be to the detriment of those of us LIVING in the vicinity.

Trees need to be protected in our community!
So many habitats associated with trees and the terrain surrounding them!

The destruction of trees, shrubbery and wildlife at this location is totally unacceptable and unnecessary for BusConnects.

I wish to protect the wooded area Between The Old Navan Road At St. Brigids GAA Club/ Pecks Lane and the new dual carriageway For Conservation reasons.

This plantation is extremely important as stated above. They are a fabulous way to teach children about nature, seasons etc while walking or biking on the sidewalk. Loosing them will frankly mean loosing a slice of nature heaven unbelievably available in an urban setting.

I would like to see this area and foliage preserved.

I feel the loss of these trees will have a significant impact on the environment when we should be planting trees instead of cutting them down.

I am the Aontu Local Area Rep for Castleknock and I have been approached by a number of local residents in relation to this issue. The removal of these trees will be dangerous to the local children accessing St.Brigids GAA Club in Russell Park.

There is a strong need for trees to provide a sound and visual barrier to the busy N3 dual carriageway.

This proposal is damaging to the local area and if pursued will leave residential communities very sceptical about co-operating with the statutory authorities on major road projects such as the N3 in future.

As someone who cycles along the road, the trees have made what was a noisy trip beside the Dual Carriageway a much quieter and enjoyable behind the trees, and cutting it down would be contrary to the idea of a climate and biodiversity crisis and prefer when cycling on the Old Navan Road that the trees would remain, fully supporting this petition.

Access to green spaces is important to children's development.
