I live in Tanner Hall. An apartment complex would decrease the value of my home. Bring unnecessary traffic. There is plenty of multi family zones in Hanahan. Developer is trying to sell to multi family developer as his exit plan without the best interest of the community and Hanahan as a whole.Matthew Weatherford (Hanahan, 2021-07-31)

Tanner Plantation is great. The overcrowding of development is not something this community wants!Tammy Mitchum (Hanahan, 2021-07-31)

These Apts/ condos would add so many cars and people to a rapidly growing area. This would not enhance our quality of life.Carole Earhart (Hanahan, 2021-07-31)

I am a home owner in the Estuary and I am opposed to more apartments directly in this area. We would like to see more businesses brought to the area but not massive apartment complexes. We have seen first hand what happens in areas with apartments and despite best efforts or intentions, they aren’t cared for appropriately and the areas around them suffer; whether by the tenants and/or the management companies. A large complex such as that proposed, may also negatively affect traffic flow.Ashlee Watts (Hanahan, 2021-07-31)

The traffic is getting ridiculous with the traffic circle and school and more apartments, it’s just causing more congestion and traffic problems. This area is getting over developed, the nature and serenity is one of the reasons we moved here. Needs to be about the quality of life and a small hometown community, not the almighty dollar in an over developed area.Karen Fowler (Hanahan, 2021-07-31)

I agree with this petition. We do not need more apartments that bring more traffic and will reduce property value! We need to use the space to serve the community… retail spaces, green space, educational purposes, etc. We need to keep Hanahan the small, quaint awesome little town that it is. NO OUT OF STATE APARTMENT DEVELOPERS!!!Cheryl Farley (Hanahan, 2021-07-31)

I am signing because this proposed development plan with devastate my home value within Tanner Hall. The additional traffic and lower priced properties along with removing potential commercial space for small businesses will not increase or maintain the value of my home. It would interrupt the existing quiet, quaint, friendly neighborhood that we have lived in for 15 years. We do not support this rezoning effort.Lori Swan (Hanahan, 2021-07-31)
