We need to challenge universities, institutions, travel agencies etc, policies and people to in term change their waysto be more sustainable. By doing this we change the norms and make the climate healthier. Aviation is a major contributor to universities (and other institutions). It's not enough to nudge. We need to have everyone understand that we should have digital meetings first, no-fly as travel policy (train-first for physical meetings) both for climate and pandemic reasons. Unsustainable norms needs to be challenged and then (fast) changed.

I'm signing because these flights makes no sense. Not from a climate perspective, neither from a time perspective. Not a few minutes nor an hour is worth the amount of Co2 that is emitted from the flights.Markus Barnevik Olsson (Lund, 2020-05-08)

Minimizing our mitigation of greenhouse gases are essential if we are to live on this planet 50-100 years from now and GU as a scientific center for future environmental, economical and social leaders should forego with a good example!
