I'm signing because... these things are a necessity for all ovulating females

(Boston, 2018-01-09)

#212

If we getting free condoms then we must most definitely get free sanitary towels.

(Johannesburg, 2018-01-09)

#213

I just wanna donate them

(gauteng, 2018-01-09)

#218

because paying is stupid and should have been solved decades ago

(Cape Town, 2018-01-09)

#224

This is important and needed to protect every girl's dignity.

(Polokwane, 2018-01-10)

#234

We give out free condoms, which is not a necessity but can't be bothered to do ensure women everywhere have the opportunity to receive this necessity for free. I truly hope this changes.

(Pretoria, 2018-01-10)

#235

Condoms are free,so menstrual pads should also be free!!!

(Johannesburg, 2018-01-10)

#238

Sanitary pads are too expensive. I always used to struggle to get cash to buy them before I was employed. I worry about homeless women all the time.

(Cape Town, 2018-01-11)

#239

So much money is wasted on so many useless things.

This petition highlights what money should be spent on.

Fully support this petition.

(Cape Town, 2018-01-11)

#246

I’m signing this petition because girls need equal access to education. This right should never be hindered simply because of their biology.

(Johannesburg, 2018-01-11)

#248

Women's dignity must be protected. SA government should play their part

(Midrand, 2018-01-11)

#254

It's the right thing to do.

(George, 2018-01-12)

#256

if the government can give out free condoms , why can't they give out free sanitary pads

(Vreeneging, 2018-01-13)

#259

Access to feminine hygiene products is a basic female human necessity! If condoms can be freely distributed why not sanitary pads?

(Johannesburg, 2018-01-15)

#260

I’m signing because I believe that sanitary pads should be free.

(Cape Town, 2018-01-15)

#267

Women deserve dignity

(Johannesburg, 2018-01-18)

#269

Having a period isn't it choice made by us females an most cannot afford pads. Let us give a go a chance to go to school and not stay at home because of being on their period

(johannesburg, 2018-01-19)

#274

I believe that school girls should get free pads and not stay away from schools because of not affording sanitary towels

(Durban, 2018-01-22)

#276

The struggle is real

(Cape Town, 2018-01-23)

#283

An obviously good cause, ably presented by Ms Ndandwe

(Strand, Cape Town Metro, 2018-01-23)

#286

Lot of girls are forced to miss their classes if their on periods of which its not their choice, we need to make this work for our young girls sake

(Durban, 2018-01-24)

#289

Divert some of the free condom supply expenditure to Sanitary Pads for the girl child in schools. KZN has shown it can be done Provincial level...

(Johannesburg, 2018-01-26)

#291

Sanitary napkins are a vital part of the female hygiene. Charging prices for such a basic need is awful and terrible. Especially when we know that India ain't one of those nations where majority of the population can earn sufficient income and satisfy their basic needs per se.

(Delhi, 2018-01-26)

#294

I'm signing because...I support and agree with the initiative.

(Pretoria, 2018-01-26)

#296

I’m signing this because I think that sanitary items should be free everywhere and the fact that these LICs can’t afford them is disgusting!!! They don’t deserve to miss out on important things like school and work for something that we as women can’t help!!

(London, 2018-01-27)

#300

Women have a right to dignity

(Cape Town, 2018-01-27)

#301

Every woman and girl deserves to have dignity

(Jhb, 2018-01-27)

#304

I'm signing because i believe that periods aren't optional and every woman gets it. There are so many girls that can't afford R50 to R70 every month just for pads or tampons. To me it is the same as stealing if the government agrees to make a price so high knowing that it's a necessity so people don't have a choice but to pay that.

(Pretoria, 2018-01-28)

#311

I want tje sanitary to be mandatory to the young girls.

(Johannesburg, 2018-01-30)

#323

Periods are not a desire or a want but a natural cause that the girls don't have power over

(Polokwane, 2018-02-06)

#326

Sanitary pads should be given free like condoms cause other people can't afford it

(Acornhoek, 2018-02-06)

#327

sanitary pads are a basic need.

(Haddon, 2018-02-06)

(Johannesburg, 2018-02-07)

#331

GIVE FREE SANITARY PADS!

(Bethlehem, 2018-02-07)

#333

Periods aren’t a choice but a part of life that needs being taken care of

(Centocow, 2018-02-07)

#341

Having a period is not a choice. Women do not get to decide to have a period or not. So many girls can't afford sanitary pads and don't go to school because of one thing that is needed to keep them from messing through their clothing and its nots something that can be controlled. Sanitary pads are expensive. We need to do better. Sanitary pads should be free and kept in every public bathroom for anyone who may need it.

(Johannesburg, 2018-02-10)

#344

Menstruation is not a choice.

(Olifantshoek, 2018-02-10)

#345

I want pads to be free just as much as condoms are.

(Johannesburg, 2018-02-10)

(Piet Retief, 2018-02-13)

#365

I want no girl child to miss school because of not having sanitary pads at home

(Hammarsdale, 2018-02-13)

#366

I consider it a worthy cause. Use of codons is a choice. Use of sanitary pads for women is a need. I stand for free sanitary pads.

(Hilton, 2018-02-13)

#369

Dignity is a Basic Human Right!

(Johannesburg, 2018-02-17)

#373

I think pads are a necessity and we need to treat them like condoms .

(Cape Town, 2018-02-20)

#375

Women deserve to have their menstrual cycle in a dignified manner and go to school, work or whatever without fear or shame of not having sanitary pads for protection against blood stains.

(Soshanguve, 2018-02-20)

#379

Free condoms, why not free sanitary pads?

(Jhb, 2018-02-20)

#381

Sanitary towels are flippen expensive bathong! Free pads can help keep girls at schools

(Centurion, 2018-02-20)

#382

Sanitary towels are a basic human right in my view and lack thereof negatively affects girl's schooling.

(Durban, 2018-02-20)

#383

We shouldn't have to fight, protest or sign petitions about this because menstruation is not a choice and basic sanitation is a human right. But here we are, so give us what we deserve.

(Cape Town, 2018-02-20)

#384

It's necessary

(Port Elizabeth, 2018-02-20)

#385

I am signing because I too am a woman and having sanitary pads available will bd a great justice for us especially those who cant afford them. This is possible!

(Cape Town, 2018-02-20)

#388

It can't be that we have free condoms and free male circumcision but sanitary pads are not free and we also pay VAT on them. Again showing how women are not valued!

(Pretoria, 2018-02-20)

#389

FFS shouldnt this already be a thing?

(cape town, 2018-02-20)
