Lets take a stand against City Power Johannesburg and have our Ward exempt from loadshedding until the issues are resolved and power can be restored fully without hiccups after loadshedding.Brad Reddell (Johannesburg, 2024-03-07)

The electricity always trip after loadshedding and it takes CityPower more than 12 hours to acknowledge the faults logged and sometimes even the whole day before looking / finding the faultEsther Swart (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

We constantly do not have electricity or trip after loadshedding and rake hours if not days to repair. This is happening everytime we have loadsheeding. This is unacceptable frkm Eskom and City power as well pay our bills on time and expect to get the service we pay for. We also work from home, and with out power, no work no pay. Can not clean or bath ourselves or our children before work/ school. I'm also very ill with Cancer and require electricity constantly, but this does not happen. And we can not afford to run a generator, and all honesty we shouldn't have to. Electricity is a basic human right and a servuce we pay for. Therefore we should not have to fight for it, it should be supplied to us without interruption. So I'm voting for our ward 97 to be exempt from loadshedding till the probkems can be resolved for good.Melissa Cathrinn Swanepoel (Gauteng, 2024-03-07)

We cannot continue with current issue surrounding power failing to return post loadshedding. We are experiencing damage to household items, increased security risk ect.Devon James (Honeydew, 2024-03-07)

I am tired of excluded power outages after each loadshedding sessions. And I am also tired of being cone yes to the boothill switching station that is extremely problematic and always has issues.Leigh Northfield (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

We have constant problems with loadshedding. When we are scheduled to come on, we are always loadsheded for 4 or more hours extra. This is not a thing that happens once or twice, it has become a constant issue and no one can ever state what the actual problem is. Always investigating but we never are informed of the outcome of the investigation. Please just move us back to Eskom.Madolyne Theron (Johannesburg, 2024-03-07)

Because I have a kid that needs to eat, bath and be taken care of, clothes need to be washed and we need to be able to work from home. I'm done with the daily outages and the extra cost it is causing, buying food just so it can sit and rot in my fridge.SAMANTHA RUDOLPH (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

I'm signing this because we go for hours without power when power is not restored after loadshedding. I have a disabled son in my house, and I work from home. It is costing me money🤨😤Mariette Cleary (Radiokop, Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

I'm signing because we have constant outages outside of loadshedding schedules. City power are well aware of the ongoing problems in the area (Honeydew Ridge / Wilgeheuwel) and yet no resolutionVerity Dunbar (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

There is always an issue with power being restored in our area after loadshedding. This results in the stations tripping and power is off for hours before being restoredAnnemarie Van Aswegen (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

When we have loadshedding, it is followed by a power failure, which sometimes last days on end. We have had 30 power failures in the last 46 days. I can no longer handle the financial impact that this is causing me - I work from home, my meat is going bad, my gas bill is through the roof and my electricity bill is not going down despite not having this service adequately provided.Frances Moloney (Johannesburg, 2024-03-07)

It has become unbearable and inhumane to live in Wilgeheuwel, more especially in Emily Hobhouse Street. Every single day we have power outage with no sense of empathy an urgency to fix the problem. Fed up residentThandi Ntlebi (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

We need power. The infrastructure in ward 97has collapsed and loadshedding is costing lives daily due to elderly and sick not having their base needs fulfilled.K Richard (Jhb, 2024-03-07)

Ward 97 infrastructure cannot handle loadshedding anymore. We have double the outages of anyone else due to trips, explosions, maintenance not doneD W (Jhb, 2024-03-07)

We as Roodepoort Residents cannot function normally as residents. We are constantly without power. We can't even keep our food in our fridges. There are many people in the Roodepoort area who works from home. Some of the people have lost their jobs because of the power situation. Then there is also those who have medical conditions and need power to keep their medication cold and running. We have to pay for a service we do not get. It make us a citizens of the country feel like less than nothing! The situation is so degrading for me as a citizen!!!!Hettie Boths (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

I am fed up with the lack of power in our area. Until CP can reliably provide stable power to the grid after we have experienced loadshedding, we should be exempted from loadshedding. We experience outages after loadshedding extending to between 4 - 12 hours at a time.Jason Roger Cary-Smith (ROODEPOORT, 2024-03-07)

I am signing because I work from home. I have an online business. I have a UPS for my router during the 2-hour load-shedding process. Unfortunately, it dies after 3.5 hours. Prolonged electricity outages does affect my communications and my productivity. I am sick and tired of the power "tripping" after most load shedding. Enough is enough!Shaun van den Berg (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

My property is in this area and there is always a trip after loadshedding, with the result people can not live or work there normally. Their mental health is suffering! Residents are weekly without power for a ridiculous amount of extra hours, besides loadshedding schedules!!!Suzan Zerwick (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

We are paying customers of electricity and we can't take this anymore. We are suffering so much from all this outages besides load shedding, it's damaging our appliances that insurances also giving us a hard time to fix and throwing away food that's going off because of being so long without power. We can't go on like this. I have a newborn and we need electricity.Nicole Warmberg (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

My area always has more loadshedding than anywhere else, on any stage. And then we have no power even when there's no loadshedding. It's a joke, and it's not funny anymoreJohn-Rob Schreuders (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)

I'm signing because it's costing more than just cost of paying my electrical bills with appliance damages and lack of business productivity.Wayne Elkington (Roodepoort, 2024-03-07)
