Mikään rahakaan ei korvaa tärvättyä saarta ja esim kerrostalot/rivitalot ja liikaa vakiasukkaita pilaavat koko saaren luonteen. Ja eritoten, jos saarelle muuttaisi 'rikasta eliittiväkeä', joka eristäisi saaren retkeilijöiltä ja muilta kävijöiltä. Eritoten kaupungissa asuvan ihmisen tulee voida tulevaisuudessakin nauttia Vartiosaaren upeasta merimaisemasta ja kasvillisuudesta, kuten tähänkin asti. Saarella nykyisin sijaitsevat rakennukset, huvilat ovat yksityishenkilöiden tai järjestöjen ja pitävät huolta omalta osaltaan Vartiosaaresta. Luostari sekä metsäkirkko sopii hyvin saareen, kuten kallioilla sijaitsevat muinaiset vahtipaikat nähdä kauas merelle ja Vartiosaariseuran hoitamat lampaat ja vuohet kesäaikaan ilahduttavat vierailijoita. |
