Fly the Christian Flag over Montgomery, Alabama for a Month

We, The Christian Believers of Montgomery, petition the city of Montgomery, Alabama to fly the Christian flag for one month.

Our city of Montgomery has a remarkable history, especially during the Civil Rights Movement. Back then, Christianity played a pivotal role in advocating for justice and equality. Today, we have an opportunity to honor that legacy by petitioning to fly the Christian flag for a month.

**Reason 1: SYMBOL OF FAITH**
When we talk about the Christian flag, it's not just a symbol – it's a representation of our faith in Jesus Christ, a faith that inspired many during the Civil Rights Movement.

**Verse: Galatians 3:27**
Galatians 3:27 reminds us, "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ." The flag symbolizes that commitment to Christ that inspired so many to stand up for justice.

**Reason 2: RELIGIOUS FREEDOM**
