Enshrine Steve Trotter on the Fort Lauderdale Beach Walk of Fame!!!

Hello and Thank You all again....the final result is.......

not what we wanted.

Below you will see the e-mail I received yesterday from the "Cultural Affairs Officer" for the city of Ft Lauderdale (insert video of masturbation act).

This guy who knows literally NOTHING about the history of Fort Lauderdale Beach amd/or what Steve Trotter meant to the beach and the hospitality industry hereheld a closed door meeting to hand-pick the 3 people he wanted to be enshrined on the Walk of Fame.

Now, all 3 gentlemen are deserving of the honor so I do not have anything to say about them. But in the past we've inducted at least 4-6 new names....why only 3 this time? Why was I not allowed to know the names of the voting people? Why no form of contact allowed??? I had served on this committee for 6 years and successfully got 3 nominees enshrined on the Walk with unanimous support...too bad I was deemed trustworthy this time.

Update on Steve Trotter for the Ft Lauderdale Walk-of-Fame

Hello again everyone,

THANK YOU ALL for signing the petition to get Steve on the Walk-of-Fame.The committee to select the new enshrinees met last week in secret and have not announced anything yet, so I have nothing much to say until they do.

The pic is from the last time I was with him in April 2022 in pompano at a Button reunion. DAMN I miss that guy.....I hope to get back to you all soon with good news.

A very big THANK YOU to everyone that has signed the petition already! We have just over 350 signatures and our goal is 500 or more by December15th.

We have signers from the Florida panhandle, Fort Lauderdale, Niagara Falls and all over Rhode Island and Mass.but we need more.
