Redesign and Play Structure Reconstruction for Blue Oaks Park

New blue oaks park structure coming 2022/2023

GREAT NEWS!! The City of Roseville will be putting a new play structure build into their FY 22/23 budget! Woo hoo! They also will be doing some much needed maintenance to the existing structure that will hold us over until the new build. Please see the message from the parks planning and development superintendent.

Also, below is a link to a survey monkey for me to gather all of your input on play structure elements you'd like to see blue oaks park have. Please understand that the city will have to work within the confines of the current space as a complete rehab would be toocostly. She also mentions we can all fundraise to add more to the structure. Petition Has Been Sent to the City of Roseville

Hi all - Just wanted to inform you that I have sent the petition to the City of Roseville Parks and Recreation this evening. I have asked that they inform me as to what action they will take in response to our request for a new park structure and redesign of the park. Hopefully, all of the signatures have helped demonstrate the need and we'll have some luck with getting the park scheduled for a remodel soon!

Update on petition for Blue Oaks Park

Hello petition supporters, I just wanted to provide an update on the petition you signed in support of a Blue Oaks Park redesign. Unfortunately, the signatures were at a bit of a standstill and I really want to get to at least 50 signatures before sending a formal request to the city. I posted flyers at the park in hopes to get more. Please feel free to share the link to others in the neighborhood or friends and family to gain more support.

I did call in and provide public comment at the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission meeting yesterday and the commissioners took note. Once the petition reaches 50 signatures, I will send the request on to the city and keep you updated. Thank you all for your support!
