Our broadband is poor as I believe we are on an alluminium line. Fibre would make a massive difference.

George Scrivener (Limekilns, 2022-03-15)

Broadband speeds within the village are temperamental and patchy at best despite high numbers of residential properties and businesses within the area.

Internet constantly drops out from being unstable, makes work from home difficult.

Claire McCluskey (Limekilns, 2022-03-15)

#47

We will be working from home from now on so its important to have reliable broadband

Katharine Isherwood (Limekilns Dunfermline, 2022-03-15)

#49

We have the worst connectivity I've heard of. It took 11 weeks forme to change Internet provider as they kept coming up with faults on the line from the hub in Charlestown to our house. Engineer said it just wasn't fit for purpose

Georgina Lyle (Fife, 2022-03-15)

#50

Current connection is weak and intermittent

Morag Yates (Charlestown, 2022-03-15)

Allison Macdonald (Charlestown, 2022-03-15)

I’m signing because more reliable, faster broadband in the village would be well received. Both for personal and business use.

Mr Gavin Cooper (Limekilns, 2022-03-16)

#61

Our village and residents would benefit from fibre upgrade

Lisa Mulube (Dunfermline, 2022-03-16)

#62

I’m reliant on a strong and stable internet and phone connection due the nature of my business and faster and more stable speeds would be a huge benefit.

Till Britze (Limekilns, 2022-03-16)

#66

I really really want faster broadband.

Sandy Thomson (Charlestown, 2022-03-16)

#70

Our reliance on fast, stable broadband is necessary due to more WFH opportunities and the increasing uptake of digital TV, radio, music streaming & gaming devices in the community.

Alex Templeton (Dunfermline, 2022-03-16)

#71

I would like a faster more stable broadband

Karen Nicol (Dunfermline, 2022-03-16)

#73

I feel an upgrade of our copper fibre network in favour of ultra fast full fibre broadband would benefit our community ,particularly in light of ever increasing demands placed on our current system . Plus we are having increasing breakdowns which can only be temporarily repaired..

Anne Morrison (Dunfermline, 2022-03-18)

Ian Monk (Limekilns, 2022-03-19)

#84

Want faster B/B

Craig Nicol (Limekilns, 2022-03-23)

Our local FTTC does not perform as well as we would like and early upgrade to FTTP would benefit much of our community.

Peter Hutchings (Dunfermline, 2022-03-28)

#88

The network is outdated and what spare capacity for repairs and back up has now been used up. We see consistent drop outs of links entirely which has been more noticeable with an increasing need to work from home and interact with people by video conference.
We personally are at the furthest point from the FTTC so have low speeds which do not meet the minimum requirements the operators state.

Matthew Lewry (Limekilns, 2022-03-29)

#96

I want much better broadband

David Blyth (Dunfermline, 2022-09-30)

#97

Internet is too slow for two people working from home.

Lex Dunko (Limekilns, 2022-09-30)

#99

We are becoming more reliant upon the internet to communicate with others. This includes research in the absence of easy access to health services, communicating with our local council as well as shopping.
Our community is not well situated to access transport which makes face to face meetings or shopping in person difficult.
We need the cabling to our homes updated.

Jane Jane Barr (Dunfermline, 2022-10-01)

Unsuitable for home working
