Our children are not at risk of covid 19 and should not be subject to experimental vaccines against their spiritual will

Marah Hoffman (Bethesda, 2022-01-29)

#2

I oppose the mandating of an experimental vaccine that now has a proven track record of causing harm to young people. Even one case of myocarditis in a child is too many! In addition, the long term risks are unknown. The archdiocese must protect the children by not forcing a “one size fits all” solution that could be dangerous to certain children (per the manufacturers & FDA’s own warning). It is not ethical. Where there is risk there must be choice! Parents must be given a choice based on each child’s personal situation and medical history.

Ana Rhea (Bethesda, 2022-01-29)

I believe in freedom of choice.

Colleen Kish (Bethesda, 2022-01-29)

#7

I’m signing because I care about our freedom of choice for us and our children.

Diana Monday (Silver Spring, 2022-01-29)

#8

I’m signing bc a vax mandate has no impact on the slowing or spreading of covid.

Thomas Kish (Bethesda, 2022-01-29)

#10

My kids are in Catholic school and I dont want them trying to enforce covid 19 vaccine mandates on my 8 and 11 year old daughters. These vaccines are experimental and there just isn’t enough information available concerning viability, effectiveness, side-effects, and long term health risks.

Elizabeth Burgess (Bethesda, 2022-01-29)

#12

I believe in religious freedom, and the freedom of choice over ones medical decisions. There is scientific evidence that the vaccines efficacy fades within months and not enough long term studies to warrant a mandate on repeated boosters

Patricia Llewellyn (Rockville, 2022-01-29)

#18

Medical freedom

Patricia Kolesar (Bethesda, 2022-01-29)

#20

Mandated vaccination takes away my right to reason! When I do my research and find I’m not sure about the safety of the vaccine I should have the right to refuse it!

Karen Thomas (Clarksburg, 2022-01-29)

#22

God is on our side and CLEARLY you are NOT!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!! You WILL BE judged on judgement day for harming God's children rather than defending them/us!! STOP THE political and harmful and pointless masks AND DEADLY unapproved death shots!!!!!!

Nancy HODGES (Myersville, 2022-01-29)

#24

I am vehemently against medical mandates. These decisions must be freely made. The archdiocese should be more concerned about eternal souls and not temporal matters in which it has no expertise.

Karin Clarkson (Rockville, 2022-01-29)

#28

These vaccine mandates are violations of all Christian beliefs and values. 1. They are the precursor to a social credit system (what they use in China). This violates our God given free will. This is an experimental product. Forcing such a thing is an absolute violation of the Nuremberg Code. It is absolutely unholy to mandate such a thing. Not just for the reasons listed but for reasons such as what they contain which should trouble any Christian. I have no doubt that the full truth about these will come to light. I also have no doubt that God will serve justice for the evils that have been done to his people.

Lora Applegarth (North Bethesda, 2022-01-29)

#32

The children are largely unaffected by this virus and these mandates are completely unnecessary and go against our right to medical privacy.

Kristi Weaver (Olney, 2022-01-29)

#33

The vaccines do not work!!!

This is America! You cannot mandate this!

Lisa McDonnell (Brookeville, 2022-01-29)

#34

This is experimental and for kids, risks outweigh the benefits. Majority of kids fight it easy and majority have natural immunity after. It seems like science has overlooked natural immunity as an option

Donna Zuniga (Sandy Spring, 2022-01-29)

#37

The decision to vaccinate should be left between the family and health care provider.

Karen Lanni (Silver Spring, 2022-01-29)

#40

My daughter is in dc catholic school. And because abortion is a grave sin and because the vaccine is ineffective with bad side effects, for a virus that is most likely no threat to me.

Maura Lindsay (Alexandria, 2022-01-29)

#41

Let the parents decide what’s best for their child!

Vincent Ionata (Olney, 2022-01-29)

#44

The Archdiocese has no authority to mandate these vaccines that have been proven to be harmful and dangerous to children and teens. It has been proven that being vaccinated does not prevent you from getting COVID or from transmitting it to another. Parents are the ones that decide what is best for their children, not the Archdiocese or the government. Stop with the dictatorial bullying. You should be more concerned about paying teachers more and making sure that the teachers and administrators follow the teachings of the church, instead of your political cool aid. Then maybe the Catholic Church can be what God intended instead of the political bureaucracy you and your predecessors have created.

Patti Calabrese (Rockville, 2022-01-29)

#48

The insanity has to stop.

Howard Walsh (Chevy Chase, 2022-01-29)

#53

Cardinal Gregory, Demanding that all students be vaccanatedfor the 2022-2023 school year is wrong. This is an idvidula decision made the parents of the school children. This not Nazi Germany in the 1940`s where Christian`s and Jews were forced into Socialist demands. Every day more and more information is coming out about th e safety and effectivness of these vaccines. You are wrong to force children into this mandate.
You should be more concerned about teaching Catholic Doctrine and showing"Leadership" as relates to offering Holy Communion to Public Officials that coontinue to vot for and promote ABORTION! Stop promoting this mandate and start acting like Catholic Cardinal!

Jay Calabrese (Rockville, 2022-01-29)

#59

Kids should not be forever to take a non-FDA, untested vaccine!

Missy Carr (Silver Spring, 2022-01-29)

#64

COVID vaccines do not help reduce spread. Mandates sow division and discord in our hearts and offer no benefit to our neighbors. They promote stigma against the unvaxxed.

St. Damien of Molokai, pray for us!

Gautam Bastian (Hyattsville, 2022-01-29)

#66

It should be the parents choice about their kids health.
This goes against every thing America stands for.

I have serious moral and safety concerns for my child.

If this goes through we will be pulling our kids from school and moving.

Andrew Gallagher (Mount Rainier, 2022-01-29)

#71

This is wrong on so many levels esp seeing and knowing that not only do the “vaccines” not work, we still don’t know the long term affects this will have on our children ! Please do not force this upon innocent children

Diana Sparacino (Silver spring, 2022-01-29)

#72

It's outrageous to mandate these experimental, ineffective, and unsafe vaccines on children for a virus that does not cause them serious harm.

Molly Hamilton (Wash, DC, 2022-01-29)

#76

I am not anti-vaccination; however, I am hesitant on this untested product and will not introduce this experimental drug into my child. Too much research has come out exposing thousands of adverse effects, including death, in the US alone. Several countries, including the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark, as well as others have put an end to the vaccine mandates. The United States should, as well. My child will not take part in this experiment. Thank you for respecting my family’s right to bodily autonomy.

Lori Vaughn (Laurel, 2022-01-29)

#77

A vaccine mandate is absolutely proven to be ineffective to stop the spread of Covid! Further it will result in many informed parents not availing their children in a Catholic education!

Kenneth Lynch (Potomac, 2022-01-29)

#80

It seems like the ADW is going in the opposite direction as everyone else.

Neal Owens (Kensington, 2022-01-29)

#81

I am strongly opposed to the Archdiocese mandating vaccines for children. Parents should make these decisions based on their beliefs and their assessment of their child’s risk. This should not be imposed as a general rule by the Archdiocese

Mary Melluzzo (Bethesda, MD, 2022-01-29)

#82

Our family should not be subjected to the COVID shot.

Josh Fuller (Laurel, 2022-01-29)

#89

My child attends Our Lady of Lourdes school in Bethesda and we do not support vaccine mandates for anyone .

Barbara Chester (Washington DC, 2022-01-29)

#97

I’m singing because I don’t believe the vaccine should be mandatory.

Bethany Fuller (Laurel, 2022-01-29)

#100

I’m signing because these mandates are CLEARLY unconstitutional and I did not spend 19 years of federal service, including 9 combat tours to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa to sit idly by while I watch these tyrants do this to Free People.

Pow Srikachorn (Silver Spring, 2022-01-29)

#101

I am in opposition due to aborted fetal cells being used in the development of the vaccines. Also, children have a 99% chance of recovery from COVID-19 if they contract it. In addition, there are too many reports of adverse events reported in VAERS to risk vaccinating our most precious commodity, our children.

Carol Harford (North Beach, 2022-01-29)

#102

The virus doesn’t cause serious enough illness in young people to warrant a vaccine mandate.

Russell Chester (Washington, 2022-01-29)

#105

My conscience compels me.

Teresa Gormley (Potomac, 2022-01-30)

#108

I am signing this petition because I have 4 grandchildren enrolled in ADW schools and I believe the parents should decide about the appropriateness of vaccines and boosters for children with the advice of their pediatricians. These vaccines have not been studied for long term effects.
We should be protecting our children, not experimenting on them.

Ellen Shull (Annapolis,MD, 2022-01-30)

#109

It is not the school’s job to dictate what is put in children’s bodies.

Emily Bales (Fort Worth, 2022-01-30)

#115

No more mask mandates please, it’s hurting our kids

Dominique Seraphin (Gaithersburg, 2022-01-30)

#118

Vaccines have to be voluntary- Catechism of the Catholic Church. There is no pandemic among school kids. Recovery is over 99%. I could go on and on.

Patricia Do (Rockville, 2022-01-30)

#119

I’m signing this because the archdiocese has a moral obligation to it’s members. Never had a vaccination become so politically divisive. Based on cdc data and the recent overturning of mandated vaccine or test policies at the federal and employer level, it is prudent that it not be an enforced mandate, as there is no science that proves it slows/stops transmission. Furthermore, children have always been in a lower risk demographic. Having all had covid multiple times including our kids, we as a family opt out of further boosters and vaccines at this point. If the archdiocese moves forwards with these mandates, we will be removing our children from future enrollment

Anthony Nelson (Olney, 2022-01-30)

#121

I stand for medical freedom and we will be leaving Catholic school if the vax is mandated and if masks continue to be mandated!

Iris Venkatesan (Gaithersburg, 2022-01-30)

#128

Stop the mandates. We have free will and choices

Katie Farrell (Olney, 2022-01-30)

#130

Parents deserve the right the decide what is best for their children.

Maddie Keegan (Kensington, Md, 2022-01-30)

#132

Forcing children to be part of an experimental trial of a "vaccine" which neither prevents transmission nor contraction, with no long term data to offer them, should violate the conscience of the Archdiocese. Shame on all of you.

Carolyn Jacob (Pittsgrove, 2022-01-30)

#134

I believe it is my responsibility to protect my daughters health from what is at this time, an experimental chemical treatment. I do not think that it is Gods will that we be forced to experiment on our children, who are not threatened by this virus, to the Covid 19 vaccines.

Joseph Mcintyre (Darnestown, 2022-01-30)

#137

My family strongly opposes the lack of freedom that all of this entails and forcing every parent to make decisions about their developing children that can have irreversible repercussions later in life.

People have the God given right to make their own choices.

#146

Masks deprive our children a good education

Kathleen Dugan (Rockville, 2022-01-30)

#151

My wife and I are the only people authorized to make medical decisions for our family and under no circumstances you will you see another dime from us at church or via tuition if this is upheld. And while we are at it, remove the masks from my children. This is no different from a cold for them and as soon as Montgomery County’s mask mandate is lifted I assure my children will not be wearing masks to your schools any longer.

Dave Eynon (Brookeville, 2022-01-30)

#152

I’m a mother of Catholic school children and I am very concerned about the political way Covid protocols have been handled. Science matters and parental rights matter. We should be free to decide what is best for our children and to opt out of them being part of a control group for an experimental vaccine. The scientific community does not speak with one voice about this particular vaccine. Risks are significant. Mandating this vaccine for anyone is unjust and covering up the true cost-benefit analyses that well-credentialed medical professionals have given is wrong.

Deborah Ruddy (Hyattsville, 2022-01-30)

#154

My kids are suffering from these pointless mandates. Everyone we know has been vaccinated and still got Covid including ourselves. Masks and vax mandates need to stop. NOW.

Sarah Andrews (Bethesda, 2022-01-30)

#156

Parents should hold the right to make personal medical decisions for their children. Vaccination does zero to slow/stop transmission. Zero science supporting a mandate

Jonathan Ferrari (Silver spring, 2022-01-30)

#161

All of the CoVid polices are not based on science. Let our children grow up seeing people’s faces and not living in fear.

Molly Hugo (POTOMAC, 2022-01-30)

#164

To protect the children.

Amy Sklut (Derwood, 2022-01-30)

#171

I am signing this petition as I am concerned that our GOD given right to choose what is in the best interest of our children will be taken away. Studies show healthy children are not severely impacted by Covid and that vaccines may impact a healthy child negatively for life. Studies also show natural immunity provides strong protection against Covid and that vaccines do not stop the spread. I ask the Catholic Church to stand WITH God and allow parents the right to make our own choices for our children and ourselves. Do NOT mandate vaccines.

Magda Alarcon (Silver Spring, 2022-01-30)

#173

The Covid vaccine hasn't proven to significantly slow the spread or prevent contagion. Further, children are not an at risk population for this disease.

Margaret Burgoyne (Hyattsville, 2022-01-30)

#186

I am signing because vaccine mandates will not protect anyone but could harm children who are very low risk.

Elizabeth Welsh (Chevy Chase, 2022-01-30)

#188

Mandates are not coming from a heart of love or God.

The vaccine does not even have proof to be as effective as natural immunity from having had the virus. The two are effective for just as long, but natural immunity is proven to be more effective, according to the CDC.

#189

Mandating a poorly tested vaccine for a population least at risk is wrong.

Danielle Musolino (Falls Church, 2022-01-30)

#192

I am signing this petition because I agree with everything whole heartedly and want the Archdiocese to be aware that there is a very real risk to our community if they were to mandate the vaccine for our children.

Allison Lumpkin (Bethesda, 2022-01-30)

#199

I do not believe this vaccine should be mandatory, but rather should be a choice for each family to make individually. Bodily autonomy is a God-given right.
