I agree that the fence should stay, it is under 6ft and adds visual benefit to property & area by looking tidy. You can tell the work has been done by a professional tradesman.Elizabeth Lee (Leeds, 2021-04-30)

I think this is an improvement to the area by someone who cares about their property.Becky Nicholson (Leeds, 2021-04-30)

This garden looks tidy and well protected. I see no valid reason why the fence could be complained about, especially after a year after erecting.Emily Womersley (Leeds, 2021-04-30)

There clearly is no issue with the fence the only issue seems to be with the people who complained about a 5ft fence and how good it looks..! These people are in there rights to keep that fence up without planning permission and should be aloud to keep it..!Stacey Ali (West yorkshire, 2021-05-01)

I’m signing because I had a similar issue living in an ex council property. Many long term renting residents don’t want change and are jealous of improvements. This guy is saving police time and protecting his property. Stop wasting council time on minor issues and sort out the real housing problems like damp properties.Catherine Boak (Garforth, 2021-05-01)

I think fencing could be allowed in the front of houses to keep potential offenders out of the property and also to reduce notice from the road.Darryl Banks (Leeds, 2021-05-01)

if the council website says 2m then they are in the wrong for giving conflicting informationSarah McCormick (Leeds, 2021-05-01)

I dont believe that a 5ft fence is exactly of a height to obstruct views, cause problems at all and this one is tasteful, well made, helps privacy, security and is actually totally unoffensive. People should be entitled to feel safe at home.Alice Dias (Leeds, 2021-05-01)

This is securing the property it is not affecting anyone. And also it is. Below the height required . There are privets and trees way higher and not maintained around the local area blocking footpaths but people do not complain . I’m sure if you read. Up on it the lady does not need planning permission as it is not a permanent fixture as it is made of wood . The fence is well done there are many properties that look unsightly. Around many area’s but you say nothing .Rita Mc cormack (Leeds, 2021-05-14)
