I object on the grounds of malicious damage to the landscape associated with the rock carvings and all the unforeseen consequences that cannot be reversed. I write as a Stone Conservator who has spent a lifetime conserving our tangible and intangible collective heritage.Nic Boyes (Edinburgh, 2024-05-28)

This unique landscape is a cultural library, each image an ancient text. We stand on the precipice of environmental collapse, still needing to learn the value of conserving and protecting Earth's topographies. Make Vingen a World Heritage site, not a quarry and safeguard it for future generations.Susan Jowsey (Auckland, 2024-07-06)

Prof. Dr. Thomas W. Wyrwoll (Frankfurt a. M., 2024-12-18)
